We offer a variety of services including cancer specific groups, complimentary therapies, counselling, one to one work and welfare benefits advice. Tai Chi and the 'Feel Good Factor' a programme consisting of Art and Music Therapy and Creative Writing, have been introduced recently.

Runcorn and District Foodbank activities are the prevention or relief of poverty - by providing emergency food boxes containing a supply of balanced and nutritional foodstuffs to individuals in need and provides signposting to relevant information and other advisory services. Non-perishable food is donated by the community and is distributed to individuals via seven distribution centres.

Our objectives are delivered by matching relevant skills and expertise offered pro bono from the business community to resource needs in the voluntary sector.We do this in three ways: Short-term projects, or Quick Fixes; longer-term projects involving a range of professional skills; and, sourcing Trustees, Mentors, or Critical Friends to deliver longer-term ongoing support.

Restart Trust provides abstinent supported accomodation for people recovering from addictions to drugs and or alcohol, and creates training, volunteering and employment opportunities for vulnerable adults.

The Big Trust supports and helps the most disadvantaged and excluded people in the Liverpool City Region through positive interventions from our dynamic business community.

Religious activities

REGISTERED WITH OFSTED, PRESTON BROOK PRE-SCHOOL PROVIDES EDUCATION FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AGED 2YEARS TO 5 YEARS.

We arrange a variety of recreational activities for disabled children, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families. These include theatre and cinema trips, craft sessions, soft play/sensory sessions, day trips to farms and zoos, tramolining, fun and float sessions in a swimming pool.

To preserve and protect the health of young adults on Merseyside by: - promoting and facilitating cardiovascular screening of young adults in Merseyside so as to reduce early death rates from previously unknown or undetected medical conditions; and,- promoting the general public's understanding and awareness of coronary heart screening of young adults and its potential benefits.

Pre-school Play Group is a non profit organisation that endeavours to enrich the lives of the children in the community. The children learn through play experiences following the national curriculum.We offer full day care for 2 year olds up to the age of 5 and provision for children with disabilities.We rely heavily on donations and grants to continually improve the quality of our environment.

Purchase of medical equipment or items requested using fundraising via light refreshments and small shop, also second hand books.

We aim to provide a safe, warm, friendly environment where children can develop practical and social skills through play. We provide an educational curriculum across all areas of learning, which enables children to work at their own pace to reach their full potential.

We are an amateur theatre group, with our own building, run entirely by volunteers. Each year we present six auditorium plays and a variable number of shorter studio productions. Our Youth Theatre provides three courses per year, with studio showcases to follow.

The aim of the charity is to provide free pre-school education to children between the ages of two years nine months to four years for a maximum of twenty children, selected by an admissions list. We also take children who are in receipt of the two year old grant. This admissions list operates on a date of birth priority system.Spinney Pre-School was formed in April 2001.

Beekeeping

A one stop shop to support the armed forces community in Warrington and the Cheshire area. This includes all veterans, early service leavers, reservists and their families from all three armed forces.This includes working with appropriate service providers, agencies,organisations and charities that assist military personnel. We also forge close links with NHS trusts in our area.

Sunshine's is a nursery providing high quality care and education on a sessional basis. Currently it offers 5 morning sessions a week over 38 weeks of the year.

The objects of the CIO are to relieve the needs of children and young people in Merseyside and in surrounding areas who are in need as a result of ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, by providing or assisting in the provision of specialist items and equipment with a view to improving the beneficiaries conditions of life.
