Scouting activities

THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE MEMORIAL HALL FOR USE BY THE RESIDENTS OF LUDGERSHALL AND THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY.

We run two annual events, Petersfield Ups and Downs (a charity bike ride) and Charity Fireworks for Petersfield.We give grants to individuals, charities and groups in and around the Petersfield area.

We hold events throughout the year including Firework Night, Quiz Night, Summer Fayre, and other smaller fundraisers such as from the sale of tea towels, mugs and Christmas cards that the children have designed.

Providing scouting activities

The aim of the charity is to create a safe, warm and welcoming space for local arts and crafts groups, ceramicists, needle workers, musicians, book groups, choirs, dance and drama groups, artists, performers and art exhibitors of all ages and abilities.

To maintain and improve Druitt Hall for the benefit of residents, facilitating activities at the hall for recreation, health and fitness, education, leisure time occupation, community meetings, with the objective of improving the quality of life of the residents.

To advance public education in the art of music by giving public concerts and recitals as the trustees see fit.To further such purpose at the trustees discretion through the making of grants and donations

To supply safe stimulating play experiences for children aged 5 - 14 years old.

The Forward 4 Wiz Trust supports new music at grassroots level by way of mentoring, advising and assisting aspiring musicians to drive forward creativity and strengthen community. Our focus is on, but not limited to, those residing in Rushmoor, Hampshire and its borders.

Scout Group

Rehearsal for, and production of Choral Concerts with Choir, soloists and orchestral or keyboard accompaniment.Takes part in Civic events including Remembrance Service, provides celebration choir for events.

The provision of services related to bereavement These activities include Bereavement Counselling and Support Services. The alleviation of loneliness and isolation.

The Hursley Parish Hall Management Committee is responsible for managing the Parish Hall. The property is held in trust for the purposes of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Hursley without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time activities.

We take a strategic & partnership approach to serving our communities by developing staff, services & resources that are inclusive, sustainable & enhance learning. We do this through 5 key areas of activity: networking; providing training & development opportunities & courses; providing grants for projects & training; facilitating the inter lending of resources; developing strategic partnerships

Ensuring the Village Hall remains available as a place for recreation and social intercourse for the advantage and benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Breamore.

Fundraising activities to enhance the education and well being of the local community through school activites and local residents involvement

Supports national charities,& local charities in NE & SE England. Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

Provide Scouting activities for boys and girls from 4 to 18 years of age.All activities are carried out in accordance with The Scouts' rules which can be seen at www.scouts.org.uk.All Leaders undertake a progressive training programme.
