The charity maintains the Hall for the benefit of local organisations and individuals for a variety of activities including Preschool, Camera Club, Horticultural Society. Choir, Scouts, Beavers, Lunch Club, Art Group and Pilates classes. The Hall is available for private parties. The Committee runs regular fund-raising events e.g. travelling theatre group.

The Basingstoke Charities brought to gether 28 local Charities. 1-8 deal with the Sir James Deane Almshouses, 9-25 with various Charities for the poor and 26-28 deal with Charities for the Lecturer (Vicar).

Lectures and study groups on a wide range of educational topics

The Portsmouth Music Festival provides a platform for amateur performance combined with an educational element from professional musicians, dancers and speakers. The Festival takes place during February and March. We welcome entries from all amateur musicians, speakers and dancers.

To conserve and protect for the benefit of the public, the environment as a whole with its animal and plant life. In particular to conserve, protect and maintain Rowhill Copse in association with Rushmoor Borough Council. To maintain a nature area and a Field Centre building. To organise walks and conduct talks with a view to advancing the education of the public (including school pupils).

The charity provides additional facilities for the benefit of the children of Ringwood Junior School. The charity embraces the whole school community, and the wider community in its efforts to be a pillar of support. To this end, the charity continues to organise events and raise funds to deliver projects for our pupils and the school community, and engages in wider community events.

Provides centre for social interaction. Organises courses of craft instruction & educational lectures/trips. Receives contributions in the form of subscriptions. Knits items for Romania/babies/seamen. Has made donations to ACWW, local schools , Garden Services, New Windows and re-furbish Car Park for scout hut. Has completely refurbished the kitchen facilities in the Scout hut.

To further education in the arts in its widest sense in the Waterside Parishes of the New Forest, through Festivals of music, art, dance and drama. It is an enabling organisation bringing together local groups and providing venues for them to perform, along with publicity and general administration. The trustees can also help other like-minded organisations within their geographical area.

WABS gives young people, up to the age of 18 years, the experience and opportunity of dancing in public at venues in and around the Bournemouth area. It also gives grants for students from affiliated schools wishing to attend courses to further their ability and also subsidise workshops taken by professional teachers and choreographers.

The trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation established by constitution for the advancement of the Christian religion in the Diocese of Winchester, primarily with The Parish of the Sherbornes with Pamber, and in particular (but not exclusively) to ;1. pay or contribute towards the salary, costs and expenses of a Christian worker in the parish, and2. support evangelism and pastoral work

We aim to preserve and protect the physical and mental health of individuals who have had treatment for breast cancer by providing support and recreational activities and advancing the education of the public in the issues surrounding breast cancer. We do this by demonstrating the benefits of an active life style after treatment through the sport of Dragon Boat racing.

Giving grants and providing activities to aid the education of children

The Yolanda Moore Foundation supports ambitious young people aged 16 - 25 from London, Dorset, Hampshire and Otago with funding, mentoring and practical help. Inspired by the life and passions of Yolanda Moore, we seek to carry on her ambition to help inspiring young people pursue their passions. We particularly seek to help disadvantaged young people who do not have opportunities and support.

Provision of a full program of Scouting activities to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. Provide social activities where deaf children and their families can meet with each other. To ensure that families of deaf children have access to information about education technology and services. To campaign for the rights of deaf children.

Fundraising for the enhancement of education & pupil experiences at Compton All Saints Primary School

TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE PERFORMING ARTS FOR ALL AGE GROUPS AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE YOUNG

The objects of the charity are to make a difference to the lives of the young people in the Scout Group, as laid down by the Scout Association, by training and education.

We are a choir, and we sing. We perform 2 to 3 concerts a year at the Portsmouth Guildhall, and we perform a suitable work at a Church at Easter time. We also regularly perform charity concerts in aid of local charities such as the Fareham branch of the Parkinson's Society. We also give donations to local charities and grants to young people to attend a summer music school.
