Disability Action Haringey is a charitable organisation supporting the deaf and disabled community within the London Borough of Haringey.

We work with young people between the ages of 11-28 to assist them in reaching there full potential but also work across the whole community to offer support Community support is essential for the development and well-being of urban areas. To achieve our aims, HMSC undertakes a number of key activities:- The provision of free, high quality immigration advice. - The provision of housing and welfare rights advice. - The provision of a hot meal and welcoming environment, allowing visitors to relax, socialise and build up their support networks. - Undertaking campaigning activities.

Making grants to Orthodox Jewish institutions and individuals in financial need.

Principal activity of the organisation is to provide hard to reach communities with advice, information resources, guidance & practical support to improve their health, knowledge & welfare, education and living standards. The charity is also at the forefront of promoting humanism with its faith alevism.

Helping the needy , by giving them food, shelter, clothing, medical and grants. We also provide school meal and whatever else is needed to make them feel save in their community.

The principal object of the charity is to provide a pathway of education and support for Jewish children and adults with learning difficulties to allow them to develop as much independence as possible and live full and inclusive lives in the community.The Trust owns freehold properties which are used by Kisharon School, Tuffkid Nursery, Kisharon's Adult Day Opportunities and Supported Living.

Religious Activities

The principle aim of the Charity is to advance the teachings, values and ideals of the Christian faith through various teaching & training opportunities, motivational events and community activities.

Advisory and support services for women facing unplanned pregnancy and support for post abortion or other pregnancy or child loss concerns. Befriending service offering practical support, group participation and individual mentoring for vulnerable pregnant women or new mothers. Relationships and Sexual Health Education project for local young people and targeted groups.

The prinicipal objective is to maintain, without profit, a centre where any person in need can, if necessary free of cost, obtain professional counselling with personal problems of all kinds.

To give every child in Haringey the opportunity to take part in sport.To give every child in Haringey the opportunity to join a sports club in order to achieve from participation through to international level.Through sport, to provide a framework for children and young people to develop life skills and key skills that will help them with future employment.

Sunbeams addresses a need for multi-disciplinary, early intervention for young women struggling with emotional wellbeing and/or social isolation. Services include accredited 1:1 and group mentoring service, work with parents and within schools.

To do charitable activities to help enforce christian values in the community

Inspire!, the education business partnership, delivers work-related learning, enterprise education and work experience to young people aged 3-24 from Hackney and neighbouring boroughs. By linking businesses and their employees with schools, we inspire, support and open doors for young people, giving them access to a world of choices and opportunities that may otherwise have remained out of reach.

Streetz Ahead is a registered charity that provides dance, performing arts and mentoring opportunities to over 1000 young people every week. They believe that dance is essential to a healthy society. They are committed to serving the under-represented, to families who may not have the means to fund or access local provision and to those struggling with their mental health.

Haringey Shed is an inclusive theatre company which offers performing arts opportunities to children and young people in Haringey, North London. We run theatre, dance and music workshops and put on professionally produced performances involving 2,000 children and young people. Over 1 in 3 of our young people has special needs or needs extra support due to behavioural issues.

Charity provides education and recreation to young people

The charity is involved in philanthropic activities and gives support to Educational and Other Charitable Institutions both in Great Britain and abroad.
