We actively create welcoming places to share stories, ideas and skills for people to become "can do" communities, embracing and leading positive change to include and benefit all cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ages and Nature - in neighbourhoods and globally.

Teen Action?s overarching aim is to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people. We do this by providing them with opportunities to develop their social and educational skills and talents. These new skills empower them with confidence and self-esteem, improving their career prospects and job opportunities and general conditions of life.

Chandran Foundation aims to help young people from all backgrounds achieve their potential. Our tutors work with under 11s to improve Maths and English and build confidence. Chandran Foundation runs after school clubs, now called GetSmart clubs for primary school children to improve Maths and English skills.

Our motto is 'To serve God's People in the Church and in the London Borough of Haringey. Ackee provides medium to long term supportive shared and self contained accommodation to 21 single black women between the ages of 17 and 21, leaving care or otherwise vulnerable. Ackee supports the women to gain necessary skills for independent living, and offers counseling and advice on other aspects of life skills training, e.g. education, employment, budgeting etc.

Providing pre-school care.

The charity provides out of school activities for socially isolated & financially disadvantaged children and young people, inc. children with special needs / disabilities, from ethnic minority communities in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Haringey. The Charity's aims to educate children through social, leisure & educational activities to develop their physical, mental & emotional capacities.

Religious Activities within the Parish of St Michael Highgate

Family Based Solutions supports parent/carers who are abused by their children in Enfield, Haringey and Barnet. We aim to raise awareness of this mainly hidden form of abuse. We support the whole family to end the abuse in the home and improve family relationships. We support families who are survivors of domestic abuse with the aim of ending the inter-generational cycle of abuse.

MWS was established in June 2010 and its main objectives are to improve and maintain the emotional wellbeing of BMER Communities in and around Barnet as well as enabling communities explore, use and share existing cultural techniques to deal with mental health issues

Making grants to institutions and individuals, in accordance with the charity's objects.

The advancement of the orthodox Jewish faith, the advancement of orthodox Jewish religious education and in particular by supporting the charitable activities of the school in the Bnei Brak, Israel known as Ziv Hatorah, The relief of poverty sickness and infirmity amongst members of the Jewish faith and other purposes as are charitable according to English law.

We provide spiritual oversight for our members and the community at large. This includes prayer and counsel and guidance. We partner with other local community groups including the police, and serve through some of our partners in local schools. Our building is occasionally used by local groups.

The Parish covers Tottenham Hale ward of the Borough of Haringey. The people and institutions (schools &c) of the parish benefit through the provision of services and the building up of community life. A far greater number of people benefit from our work with links to schools and many individuals beyond the parish boundaries.

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS AND ITS PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES ARE TO ASSIST IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF TURKISH AND KURDIS PEOPLE IN ENGLAND

The provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for girls who are in need of such provision because of their youth, age, infirmity, poverty, or social and economic circumstances and with the objects of improving conditions of life.

We provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities for the inhabitants of the London Borough of Haringey particularly those who have a need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, social or economic circumstances.

Advancement of Christian Religion, through organising church services, seminars and conferences

The North London Buddhist Centre offers courses and classes in Meditation, Buddhism, Yoga and other activities to promote health, happiness and well-being. Its aim is to develop a Buddhist practice community in the city relevant to our lives in the 21st Century.It is part of an international network of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, which has over 80 centres world-wide.
