Tees Valley Youth for Christ continues to provide both formal and informal social and Christian Education through schools work, detached youth work and centre based youth programmes.

The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to improve the health and well being of the people of Stockton, Thornaby and surrounding areas, through the provision of education, training and workshops in nutrition and healthy cookery.

The purposes of the Methodist Church are and shall be deemed to have been since the date of union theadvancement of -(a) the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrinal standards and the discipline of the MethodistChurch;(b) any charitable purpose for the time being of any Connexional, district, circuit, local or otherorganisation of the Methodist Church;(c) any charitable purpose

TVRA works with rural communities to enable them to identify and respond to local needs; provides direct support to groups and individuals through advice and guidance, organises activities, deliver services, e.g. community transport; informs and influences local policy; highlight rural issues; develop and participate in appropriate partnerships; commissioning relevant research and development.

THROUGH GRANTS TO OUR STRATEGIC PARTNERS AND OTHER SUPPORT, WE PROMOTE POLICY CHANGE BY FUNDING PROJECTS THAT INFORM DISCUSSION AND INFLUENCE PUBLIC POLICY. OUR AIM IS TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES AND REDUCE SOCIAL DEPRIVATION.

We provide easy access to recording, rehearsal, training and live performance facilities giving the whole of the community the opportunity to participate in the arts and with special emphasis given to education of unwaged people in Hartlepool and the surrounding area.

For the public benefit provide facilities and services that support people in socio-economic, health and wellbeing needs in England by all or any of the following means:The relief of poverty. The advancement of education, training or retaining. The hosting of events.Provision of care for members of the public who suffer: i) disability; ii) illness; iii) hardship

The Sensory Place provide a wide range of inclusive activities for disabled children and their families across Sunderland, County Durham and surrounding areas. This includes social, leisure and sporting activities. We provide safe and non-judgemental spaces where everyone is able to be themselves and where families can meet other likeminded families. We also provide courses for parents and carers.

The charity manages a community centre in Manor House ward of Hartlepool.

Local Community Football club

The Vocational Learning Trust has built a vocational learning centre called The Work Place. VOLT is responsible for ensuring the building is used for the aims and objectives of the Trust and also has a remit to raise funds for educational purposes.

Advocating, raising awareness and educating the public, statutory and non- statutory agencies about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. This includes staging an annual LGBT festival and smaller events, including regular social events for the LGBT community and allies in a safe environment throughout the year.

Providing education, support and outreach activities to young people in the Tees Valley area. We focus on music, singing and dancing, keep fit, anti bullying techniques, martial arts and revision classes for school curriculum support We have a full gym, music rooms, podcast/tv studio a recording studio , a traverse wall for rock climbing. We produce films and videos, made by our users.

Hartlepool St. Aidans and St, Columba PCC maintains local parish activities of the Church of England. Services are held in both churches in the Anglo Catholic tradition. Parish operates a thriving kitchen each Thursday to provide hot meals and give groceries to be taken home. The PCC works closely with St. Aidans School. The parish works in a group with All Saints Stranton and St. Lukes.

The Charity pursues activites that are of benefit to the residents of central Hartlepool and which will promote sustainable means of achieving economic growth by the following means:1. The relief of financial hardship;2. The improvement of and provision of housing 3. The maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities.

The 24 two bedroom single storey terraced homes, were fully occupied at the end of the year.The homes all meet the Government "Decent Homes Standard", and an asset management strategy is in place to maintain the homes to the highest standards.A waiting list is maintained and over 100 applicants are on the list.

The objects of the charity are to relieve, treat and promote the relief and treatment of those suffering from Alzheimers disease and related disorders and to provide support for such persons and their families.

GCH Trust exists to advance the Christian religion primarily by:1 - encouraging and facilitating the founding and operation of Christian churches primarily, although not exclusively, in the North East of England2 - encouraging the seeking of new followers of the Christian religion3 - facilitating the training and development of individuals in their understanding of the Christian religion

Almshouses for elderly people

The Charity directly delivers a range of services to individuals/groups from the local community. The Charity manages a local community centre. The Charity aims to develop the capacity and skills of the community of Middlesbrough in such a way that local residents are better able to identify and deal with matters that effect them and so that such residents can participate more fully in society.

The prevention or relief of poverty and financial hardship within the Tees Valley For the public benefit to promote the education of people of any age in the Tees Valley in such ways the charity trusteessee fit, including by providing their education to prepare for any occupation, trade or profession on leaving anyeducational establishment.

The provision of appropriate vocational learning, apprenticeships, adult apprenticeships and Train to Gain placements for young people in the local area.

Provide advice & information to those with epilepsy, their families & carers. Epilepsy awareness training. Volunteer support service. Drop-in & art group.

Organise Christian arts festivals incorporating all forms of all artistic expression by Christian artists (including, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, music, drama, dance, painting and sculpture) with the aim of using artisitic expression to spread the Christian gospel.

To relieve sickness and protect public health by the provision of transport for urgently needed blood, drugs, human tissues and other medical requirements between hospitals,blood transfusion banks and other healthcare facilities.To support human life by providing a free of charge transportation service to our local NHS and to other organisations with objectives similar to ours.
