Charity Fundraising Activities

We work with LGBTQ plus people seeking asylum and those who have been granted leave to remain but are unsettled. Based in Newcastle, we cover the North East region. We provide social opportunities where members can meet safely and enjoy each other's company. We work one-to-one with each member helping to provide detailed case information.

North East Ladies Day provides support to the local community within the North East of England, raising charitable donations to be distributed to local community groups, other charities and organisations, which will include but not limited to, the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, financial hardship, domestic and psychological abuse and community projects.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF CHRISTIANITY. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION ABOUT AVAILABLE SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

To support the development, administrative management and operational management of Sustainable Community Enterprises across North East England.

We will rescue abandoned, lost and unwanted ferrets from within Sunderland and South Tyneside.We will rehabilitate and care for these ferrets until they are able to be rehomed.We will carry out activities to find new homes for the ferrets in rescue and provide backup support for thelifetime of the ferret.We will promote neutering of pet ferrets to reduce the number of unwanted litters.

NCBF is an annual regional event held each November to promote the love of reading and books to children, parents/carers and teachers by facilitating author visits to schools,libraries and other regional venues.

To promote healthy recreation in the community, in particular providing the facilities and training for the playing of wheelchair sports.

To relieve the needs of young persons residents in Middlesbrough and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for recreation and sport for individuals in particular, but not exclusively, those aged 8-19 years of age who have learning disabilites and those with physical and/or sensory impairment.

Clean Planet are a group of skilled professional divers that aim to survey and remove Ghost Gear from the sea around the North East Coast of England, In the winter months we have a group of volunteers that survey and remove Ghost Gear that washes ashore on our coastline.Once removed the gear will be stripped down and sent away for recycle instead of it going into landfill

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of lupus in the North East of England through the provision of support, education and practical advice, as well as advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to lupus. The support is given through many channels such as face-face meetings, outreach, online

Information and advice for parent/carers/guardians of children/young people with a special need ages 0-infinity years.Provide activities term time and holiday for the whole family where there is a child/young people with a special need aged0-infinity years

Our main aim is to improve the welfare of fellow Gypsies and Travellers by facilitating them to live full and purposeful lives and enabling them to contribute to the well being of their communities. We actively address the discrimination experienced by Romany Gypsies and Travellers and encourage the wider general public to understand and celebrate our Romany Gypsy Traveller culture and heritage.

Jack's Journey supports Cumbrian families who have received a cancer diagnosis and are currently, or have recently finished, cancer treatment. This is through financial grant making, but also through smaller gifts to aid their time in hospital.In addition, Jack's Journey provides holiday accommodation for families from across the north who are currently, or recently finished, cancer treatment.

Guisborough Christian Centre is a Christan fellowship which operates in Guisborough, East Cleveland and elsewhere for the advancement of the Christian religion, relief of persons in need, hardship and distress, the advancement of education, provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare

We are a mental health and wellbeing charity based in the North East of England with a focus on empowering adults aged 21 and above using the three peaks of Education, Exercise and Environment. Our charity was establised in memory of our brother, Lewis Boyd-Hill, whose warmth and wit will run through everything we do.
