Provision of food and clothing together with personal hygeine products to those who are primarily homeless but all of those who are in need. Provide an outreach service to those in need by way of advice and contact with necessary and appropriate agencies including other charities and local authorities.

Clubs, and community activities ect

We are a PTA Committee working together to organise various fun days for children and parents throughout the year. Annually we hold a summer fete where the whole community is invited to come along. All events are held to raise money in order to purchase items from a wish list prepared by the Head Teacher in order to aid the teaching welfare of the children attending the school.

The Council promotes Scouting in the Hornchurch District by supporting the 17 Scout Groups in the geographical area of Ardleigh Green, Corbets Tey, Cranham, Elm Park, Emerson Park, Hornchurch, Rainham and Upminster.

Support by way of grants to St Edward's Church of England Schools in Havering.

The aim of FOHMS (Friends of Havering Music School) is to raise funds in order to provide equipment, facilities and financial support where necessary for children and adults studying at the Havering Music School and to make music tuition available to more people, especially young people whose lives may be enriched by the experience.FOHMS has adopted the NCPTA model constitution.

The Charity operates a local history museum for the London Borough of Havering.

RUNNING A SCOUT GROUP - UPKEEP OF SCOUT PREMISES-INTERACT WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY RE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

Hornchurch and Upminster Sea Cadets is a uniformed organisation for young people aged 10 to 18 years of age. The Unit provides skills, knowledge and education through training and activities that are underpinned by the Marine Society and Sea Cadet curriculum with a Royal Naval ethos. Throughout their Sea Cadet experience the Cadets are able to gain qualifications and skills for life.

Social - i.e. speakers, demonstrations and outings.

Provides training and activities in accordance with the Scouting Association aims and methods.

To advance the education of pupils in the School in particular by:- developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the School- engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils

We work to promote God's message of love salvation and redemption through our church services which also addressesthe welfare of our members. For instance, we host gospel night of songs, bible teaching programmes and prayer services for the spiritual, emotional, psychosocial development of members and the provision of relief of poverty to members going through periods of difficulty

Our mission is to break the barriers that hold back BME women, such as racial and gender discrimination, cultural stigmas, and economic challenges. We aim to empower women in Essex and the surrounding areas through a comprehensive approach encompassing culturally sensitive support services, advocacy, education, community engagement and leadership development.

We are a Ladies Club and we provide educational and recreational evenings for all women of the Havering area. Also we hold charitable events, and help support other charities where we can.

To engage with people on the streets of Havering where there is an active 'night-time economy' and on the Railways to administer practical aid and counselling where required.

Scout Group

To relieve the blind, or partially blind, or those labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability, which makes reading a strain, by the provision of digitally prepared memory sticks.

Religious Activities

The PCC is committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible and to allow Christians and seekers to become part of our Church community. The PCC makes suggestions on how our services can engage with the many groups that live within our designated parish area. Our services and worship put faith into practice through prayer, scripture, music,sacrament and hospitality.

By financial donations to support local charities in Essex and the East end of London, charities where the trustees have a specific involvement and development projects particularly related to education

To relieve the needs of people who are visually impaired or partially sighted in Havering and the neighboring area for the public benefit by:1. enabling them to develop self-help skills and contribute fully to society2. presenting the interests and needs of partially sighted people and making known their needs and aspirations

RAGS offers a support network for families who have a child or young person with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome. Our board of trustees is made up of local parents and professionals in the field of Autism. RAGS welcomes siblings and those awaiting diagnosis. Information advice and guidance is available along with events and activities.
