Havering Mind provides a range of services that pro-actively support and educate people about mental health in its local community. It aims to support individuals in their recovery and promote social inclusion. Raising awareness to reduce stigma around mental health is also a key activity. Provide long and short term independent advocacy to vulnerable people to help them speak up for themselves. Provided through professional and volunteer advocates, but self-advocacy groups are also supported.

Uniting Friends is a social inclusion project for adults with learning disabilities

We receive referrals through our network of schools. We deliver a bed bundle for every child in the household that requires it; this includes a brand-new Bed, Mattress, Duvet, Pillow, Bed Sheets, Pyjamas and Hygiene Kit. We work with local partners to include Food Parcels and, if needed, a school uniform. We can also mediate between families and their support services, as well as making referrals.
