The principal activity of the company is to provide or assist in the provision of facilites for recreation or other leisure activities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hay-on-Wye and surrounding district in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

Sells tickets for a monthly draw. Proceeds from tickets sales then go into a fund which is available for grants to the churches in the Frome Valley Group for restoration of church buildings or churchyard

Bromyard Public Hall provides typical Village Hall facilities for Bromyard and the Surrounding area. It includes one large Hall complete with stage at one end and a fully operative kitchen at the other, plus a smaller meeting room upstairs. The Hall is available for all charitable functions and for use by local groups, sporting clubs, dance clubs and the like.

Since March 2020 (COVID-19), the charity works with Herefordshire Council and its Winter Shelter providing food, drink and other essentials plus supplying emergency microwave meals for newly homeless put up by the Council. When safe to do so, we will re-open our breakfast service. The charity is run by unpaid volunteers, and we rely on the generosity of people's donations.

To advance the education of children in the school, in particular by;1. developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school,2. providing facilities which support the school and advance the education of pupils.3. engaging in various activities during the year, having regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Maintenance and improvements in the standards of treatment and care provided for patients with diabetes in the designated geographical areas.

Provision of low cost housing under terms of trust deed.

While support is donated to many local charities, such as the food bank, the ladies of the Inner Wheel Club actively enjoy sending shoe boxes abroad. Funds are also raised for overseas charities such as, schools, hospitals, water aid, etc.
