Pippin Pre-School is a Committee run group established in the 1960s. The highly qualified team at Pippin are totally dedicated to the welfare of every child in their care. Our aim is to promote enjoyable, purposeful play that encourages learning and development in an atmosphere, which is safe, relaxed, healthy and fun.

Education and Training.

To promote and protect the physical and mental health of children and young people with difficulties/disabilities with support,education,practical advice,recreational and leisure time activities designed to improve their conditions of life and that of their families. Also provide support and activities to develop their skills,capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society.

Our mission is to encourage, enable and equip the churches, congregations and individuals of the Circuit to draw nearer to God, to proclaim the good news of Christ and to share the love of God.

The Charity's object and principal activities is for the promotion of the Orthodox Jewish Religion and the advancement of education in the Jewish religion.

CHEXS utilises a unique model to build strong families that contribute to a thriving community. By working with the whole family, CHEXS helps parents or carers build strong, positive relationships and trust with their children. We also coach children and young people through a variety of innovative projects designed to build self-esteem, teamwork, problem-solving and tangible skills.

LIF was formed to give a voice to the Irish community in Luton and now, our welfare, social, and cultural services extend far beyond Luton and include Irish, Irish Traveller, and other communities.

We are a short to medium term homeless hostel providing support for men, aged 25-60, in Watford with complex needs; primarily homelessness, drug and alcohol issues. We provide 24-hr support, in-house therapists, self-help strategies, supportive group work, signposting to external services, assistance with maximising benefits, advice on education and training and follow on support / resettlement.

We run over 80 classes each week teaching techniques drawn from complementary approaches to health alongside a complementary therapy clinic, a large counselling service, a Hertfordshire-wide, award-winning wellbeing programme for older people with mobility problems or who are living with long-term conditions and a programme introducing Mindfulness into local schools.

Youth Talk offers community counselling at no charge to 13-25 year olds who live, work or are educated in St Albans, Harpenden and surrounding area. We also provide an information/signposting service to both young people and their parents

To raise funds for the Magical Taxi Tour for children with life threatening illnesses. To give benevolence to Licensed Taxi drivers and their families, Support City of London based charities and nominated projects in London

Information, advice and guidance through courses, training and counselling.

Acting as Health and Social Care consumer champion and watchdog for for the residents of Hertfordshire. Representing the views of patients, families and consumers (on health and social care issues) to Commissioners and providers. Signposting residents to care and support services

THE CHARITY OPEARATES A PRESCHOOL OFFERING 275 PLACES (10 SESSIONS AND 5 LUNCH CLUB SESSIONS PER WEEK) WITHIN A PURPOSE BUILT BUILDING. FUTHER SERVICES INCLUDE CARER AND TODDLER GROUPS, TEACHING ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES. PROVIDING TASTER LEARNING SESSIONS PROVIDED BY LOCAL EDUCATION PROVIDERS AND PROVISON OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL ORGANISATIONS

A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF JEWISH EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND UNDERSTANDING OF JUDAISM AMONGST JEWISH TEENAGERS AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TENETS OF THE JEWISH FAITH IN SUCH MANNER AS THE DIRECTORS IN THEIR DISCRETION SHALL DETERMINE AND;B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUCH OTHER OBJECTS AS ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND ARE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO ENGLISH LAW.

To provide and assist in the provision of training, mentoring and counselling for people of all ages and backgrounds, including current and future leaders within the UK and abroad, in order to support their personal growth, development and full participation as individuals and members of society within a framework of positive moral and community values.

Our Vision Statement is to be 'The Family of God in the Presence of God displaying the Glory of God'. Activities include Sunday worship, a variety of children and youth ministries including Treasure Chest parent & toddlers, Me & Dad and Sunshine & Rainbows (group for bereaved parents), regular Alpha courses, Marriage courses, support for overseas churches and for members church- planting abroad

Weekly Church services, mid-week meetings and prayer times. Programmes that engage the elderly, youth, children and toddlers.Provide individual prayer ministry, one to one support and food parcels.Provide financial support to two local charities who are working with vulnerable women and people in debt.

The Cambridge Muslim Trust provide a focus of activities for Muslims living in the Cambridge and surrounding area. This enables the organisation of religious, educational, and social life within the community in light of the Islamic teachings and traditions.

The provision of free, confidential, impartial and independant advice

The Pepper Foundation supports children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We do this by funding hospice at home care and by providing specialist play services and family days.

To give the best quality care to our elderly residents, meet their expectations, and achieve the greatest quality of life possible.

We run a food bank in the St Albans district area.
