Running of a Pre school for children aged 2 to 5

We provide a variety of styles of worship service; we offer pastoral care to those in need or at key points in their lifes journey; we offer preaching and teaching to all ages in ways appropriate to their needs; we actively reach out to those on the fringe or outside current membership. We seek to minister in the spiritual dimension of life, meeting people in the social or emotionat situations.

The Charity provides practical help and advice to people affected by hearing loss. Our volunteers help people in supported housing with hearing aid maintenance/advice. Our Equipment Service helps with alerting, amplifying and telephone equipment. Hearing Support Services in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Suffolk Hearing Advisory Service, and West Northants pilot support NHS hearing aid users.

We are an organisation which provides facilities for adults with Learning Disabilities. We provide education and training that encourage service users to achieve their full potential and integrate into the community. Our setting provides a safe environment where individuals can socialise, maintain existing and learn new skills. Most important of all, to enjoy a good quality of life.

The PCC organises the following activities in order to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our parish community i.e. Sunday morning services, Weekly Community Groups, Online weekly services, children's ministry (3-11 years old), Weekly Mums and Toddlers Group, Missional weeks including community activities & Community events.

To maintain a sustainable park as public open space for the benefit of the people of St Albans and to provide facilities in the Park for their enjoyment.

Education and training in religious activities

We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everybody on their rights and responsibilities.

Music24 currently provides music therapy and other music-related activities that benefit health and wellbeing to various groups of people, including but not limited to: people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities and dementia. Our expertise lie within offering community music therapy groups, community choirs, singing cafes and one-to-one music therapy.

Running an International Pipe Organ Competition and Festival every other year.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

The premises are based in Southgate in north London and comprises a place of worship, meeting rooms and a Hall. Services are held twice weekly and during festivals. Spiritual guidance is provided. There are education classes for all age groups, as well as social and cultural activities. A dedicated group provides care and welfare to the sick, vulnerable and elderly members of the community.

We are a Disability therapy centre, providing complementary and mainstream therapies for people with Neurological conditions.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE CHILTERN DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING GRANTS ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND / OR CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO RELIEVE POVERTY.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities and an inclusive environment for playing rugby and other sports or other leisure time occupation for people who have such need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, or social and economic circumstances and to advance the education of children/young people according to the law of charity.

Emergency medical response

The promotion of any charitable purpose for the benefit of the public in the City of Cambridge and its adjoinng rural area by the furtherance of health and wellbeing, especially amongst persons suffering from mental disorder or emotional disturbance.

The main activities of the charity are centred around demonstrating God's love and care, mainly to the people of Hitchin and surrounding area, but also to the wider World. This is done both through the more conventional church work and through a variety of community activities.

Promoting the whole mission of the Church

The Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara (SGSSH) operates to support, enhance and promote the welfare of the local Hitchin and North Hertfordshire community. Centred on the teachings of the Sikh religion, the charity provides both faith and non-faith based services to over 700 beneficiaries, enhancing social interaction and cultural diversity capabilities within the community.

To advance for the public benefit education in the United Kingdom, in particular by supporting the maintenance, carrying on, management and development of St George's School, Harpenden Academy Trust, a co-educational school with a non-denominational Christian character offering a board and balanced curriculum.

The company is established to promote the understanding of brain injury and to provide information and support to people who have acquired brain injury, their families and carers throughout Hertfordshire
