CanalAbility provides affordable day trips on the inland waterways of Essex, and Hertfordshire for disabled and disadvantaged individuals and organisations. Their two purpose-built boats provide facilities for all users and enable them to participate fully in the operation of the boat. The charity is also an accredited training provider.

The Ark conducts weekly church services, prayer meetings, training and youth work. The church supports Christian evangelistic and humanitarian initiatives amongst the homeless and disadvantaged in the UK and abroad. The Ark also runs a Foodbank supporting families referred to us by local schools, and gives grants to those suffering hardship.

We arrange various activities to support these aims. Many of these are based in St Albans, at our church building. We also support a number of individuals and organisations with the same mission as us in other places.

St Peter's is a Christian church in the Anglican tradition. We seek to meet the spiritual needs of people within Broadwater and further afield. We also seek to meet practical needs as well through providing groups open to local people such as youth groups, toddlers and social groups.
