The principle activities of the Orchestra in the year under review are to promote live music by putting on concerts in the East Herts area including involving schools in children's and Christmas concerts, and to increase the standards of the local amateur musicians by engaging professional musicians to work and tutor.

The Corps is a voluntary youth organisation for Boys and Girls. It aims to develop qualities of self-discipline and leadership and provides a service to the community. Our organization is run on Naval routines and traditions.

Sixty Plus operates a weekday luncheon club for people over the age of 60 in Potters Bar and surrounding area. An escorted, specially adapted minibus service is available for those people who need assistance to get to and from the centre. Weekly bingo sessions are popular and outings and events take place several times a year.

Our PTA are a well represented committee of parents and teachers - as well as lots of support from parents who are unable to attend all meetings but happy to help at events etc.We aim to provide fun and well organised fundraising events whilst promoting a supportive partnership between families and the school.

Fitness Without Boundaries is a charity which offers disabled people more choices and opportunities to enjoy the benefits of physical activity and promotes community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Northamptonshire and surrounding areas by providing a community fitness suite and gym equipment.

This 300 year old charity makes grants to young people of secondary school age and normally up to first degree level for expenses arising from education. Some priority is given to needy young people with the family name Kentish. Otherwise, applicants need to be permanently resident in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.

The Charity raises funds from general public and donors by holding events and carrying out projects. They make donations to support disaster relief and projects around Watford area from the funds raised and they also take part in community services.
