Harpenden Choral Society has about 75 members and performs four concerts a year in Harpenden, including a carol concert. The Society aims to perform an increasing range of choral music of all periods, both sacred and secular, to a high amateur standard with the help of professional soloists and instrumentalists. The Society promotes singing as a social activity and strives to attract new members.

Maintenance and management of Nash Mills village hall. The hall is used by the greater community for social activities and gatherings. The hall is self funding and we receive no financial support for running costs from the Parish or local council.

Provision of educational and training facilities for Loreto schools in England

Scout Group providing the opportunity for young people between the ages of 4 and 14 years to experience Scouting.

The charity is sustained by tithes and church offerings and we help many families in need in the UK with this money. Wecarry out mission work every first Sunday in the month. During the year we carried out mission work in Madagascar,Romania, India.

To provide guidance & facilities to the 6 scout groups within Hertford District to promote the ideals of the scout movement.

The Society promotes interest in local history of Berkhamsted and district, holds illustrated lectures, publishes annual journal of historical research, newsletters, arranges Heritage Open Days, encourages historical research and collects artefacts stored in accredited Museum

During the year we have continued to distribute food parcels and essentials to those in need.4793 vouchers were fulfilled - 7038 adults and 5679 children recieved food. This is a big increase upon last year. than the previous year.Over the year the amount of food we had donated to us was over 100 tons.

To educate the public in, and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in dramatic and operatic arts and musical works of all kinds.

Operation of local Village Hall for use by the community

1. To Serve the community with Buddhist teaching and practices2. To conduct meditation classes to help and lead a peaceful life. 3. To provide/assist in the provision of facilities to carry out Buddhist and Sri Lankan cultural functions .4. To advance the Buddhist way of life.

The LAKPA provides support to persons suffering from kidney disease in particular patients from Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire receiving treatment via the Lister Hospital, Stevenage. We provide services or items to improve the welfare of renal patients and carers e.g. equipment, printed information, speakers, grants to patients and subsidised social events.

Supporting Broxbourne Borough residents living in crisis. A food bank related service providing fresh food and ambient products for those unable to afford a meal for every day of the week, including a Mindful Craft Cafe in support of poor mental health related illnesses. These support services are delivered from The Beaumont Community Centre in Cheshunt.

Educational and Leisure time activities for middle aged and older people from Hertford and surrounding areas

For the relief of the aged and physically challenged persons by the provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation for such persons resident in royston and surrounding areas.

2MAKEIT USES CREATIVE PROGRAMMES TO AID THE REHABILITATION OF PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS, CONTRIBUTING TO REDUCED RE-OFFENDING LEVELS.

The PSA committee meets on a termly basis and occasionally more often to discuss fundraising and spending . Termly meetings are also held for all members. In addition regular newsletters are distributed to keep members updated. The aim to advance the education of pupils through the provision of facillities and equipment arising from activities including Fairs, Social Evenings, Auctions, Cake sale.

We provide training and facilities for filmmakers and animators. We work with adults, young people and children, here at our studio and in schools, colleges and art centres.

The Charity's main objectives are: ? To provide assistance to individuals who are suicidal, in despair or in distress in order to reduce the incidence of suicide. ? To advance education by providing society with a better understanding of suicide, suicidal behaviour and the value of expressing feelings that may lead to suicide.

Providing teaching resources and professional advice. Contributing towards students' education.

TO ORGANISE EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND THE SCHOOL TO RAISE FUNDS FOR USE ON SCHOOL PROJECTS AS AGREED AND IN CONSULTATION WITH THE SCHOOL GOVENORS.

The Church provides public worship in St Alban's and weekly prayer meetings. It also runs a parent and toddler group and various social activities for the local community e.g. craft cafe, art group. We support charities who provide practical and financial support to people in need in the UK and abroad and organisations that provide outreach into local schools and other outreach organisations.

The project is aimed at introducing young people to performing music, in both live and studio environments.
