FUNDS TO PROVIDE BENEFITS FOR ELDERLY PERSONS RESIDING IN THE PARISH

Our Charity activities include providing various activities to promote development for our members such as specialised speech & language therapy, drama, music & signing sessions. We also have regular social events to help promote self esteem & social inclusion. We support families & aim to provide information to both parents/carers & professionals.

We are a community family hub based at Life Church in Cuffley, Hertfordshire. Our aim is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. We want to meet the needs of our community by providing a range of support groups and services for all ages, from babies to the elderly.

Educating the public in the local history of Harpenden and district, maintaining a museum and archive and undertaking research into the origins and development of buildings, organisations, crafts, trades and other aspects of historical interest.

Graveley Village Hall provides premises to hire at a reduced rate for charitable fundraising and village amenities.

Peter Lauer Foundation (working name H'arts in Mind) purpose is to relieve the suffering of those suffering from mental health issues, disability, socially disadvantaged using art as a vehicle, providing art projects primarily but not limited to. We are primarily working within the Hertfordshire area but not limited to. We serve the community where there is a need and are an inclusive charity.

Knebworth Scout & Guide Group is part of the wider Scout and Guide Association, which is concerned for young people. It aims to encourage their physical, mental and spiritual development, so they may take a constructive place in society. This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, guided by voluntary adult leadership.

Our aim is to promote Bushey as a vibrant place to live and work; work with others who share the same aims; encourage local creativity and to help inspire active participation. We do this by organising and promoting music, artistic, educational, health and wellbeing, and leisure time activities. These take place during the festival period in July and at various times during the year.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY)

The aim of the trust is to provide convalescent and respite care for the sick and their carers throughout Hertfordshire. Grants are given to pay for convalescence and for respite and recuperative holidays. Grants are made to those suffering from the effects of poverty and social deprivation.

At present MEER AID UK is maily supporting MEER AID in Kashmir to run a Food Aid Programme and has supported few other charities to help victims of natural disasters

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Turnover represents the income from the provision of language development skills and the promotion of religious and cultural activities in the Watford area

Charity runs fund raising events such as discos and seasonal fairs to raise money for the school. Also provides help and assistance to the school in the form of volunteers for many activities such as helping with sports day and ad hoc projects.

The charity raises money towards the upkeep of St Andrews Church, Much Hadham, Herts, through subscriptions and fund raising activities.

As a Member Society of The Arts Society the Society shall have as its objects the promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts, and the giving of aid to the preservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public.

Repair and maintenance of 4 Almshouses in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, which are occupied under licence by people in need and/or on a low income, and as and when necessary finding suitable occupiers.

The objectives of the charity are to advance the education of the public in the appreciation of orchestral music by the provision of public performances.

We organise and hold events for the children and families of our school to raise funds for school improvements

We have fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Care by holding coffee mornings. The charity collect clothing and food for the homeless. Youth programs and activities take place.

TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF POTTERS BAR, AND IN PARTICULAR YOUNG PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL AND/OR LEARNING DISABILITIES, .

The activities of 4th Letchworth Scout Group are as a unit of the scout association. The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
