The Aspenden Village Fund will organise Aspenden Village events (i.e Autumn ball, Village Fete) to raise funds in order to help with the organisation and running of the annual Village Fete; funds raised will also be donated to selected other Charities with a connection to Aspenden residents. Funds will also contribute towards Aspenden projects.

Relief of poverty in the Parish of Aldenham

TO ENHANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT EASTBURY FARM SCHOOL IN WAYS OVER AND ABOVE THOSE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY

St Albans Chamber Choir's objectives are to give performances of choral music of familiar and rarely performed work, including works commissioned by the Choir; also to foster public knowledge of such music by performing both locally and further afield. The Choir mounts 4-5 public concerts each season, either unaccompanied, or with soloists and piano or orchestral accompaniment.

Makes grants to young people under the age of 25, who are or have been a pupil at a school in the town of Hertford, for educational purposes.

The Charity provides meeting accommodation for a whole range of local community activities, including social, educational and keep fit activities. It is particularly interested in providing a place for disabled and hard to reach groups to meet. It also provides for local groups to hire the hall at reasonable rates for their own activities.

Christian activities, evangelism, positively impacting the community through public awareness. Sports activities and other events in the community.

The project is aimed at introducing young people to performing music, in both live and studio environments.

The charity awards grants with an emphasis on the promotion of research into kidney disease and arthritis/rheumatism; research into the prevention of still-birth and neonatal death; the relief of suffering due to cancer through the provision or nursing and practical assistance; the provision of assistance to the frail/elderly and infirm and preservation of woodland in the UK.

We provide a clean safe community centre, with disable access, a disabled toilet complete with baby changing facility, and an adjoining open field containing a youth shelter, basketball net, a football practice wall, a football pitch, cricket square, and two tennis courts with floodlights, which are available for use by all sectors of the community.

Local section of the Scout Movement, with the stated aim of supporting young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, so that they may play constructive roles in society.

Publishing of music scores, parts and books relating principally to the composer Edward Elgar;Sponsorship of performances and recordings of musical works principally by the composer Edward Elgar.
