PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL FACILITY FOR THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED OR SEMI RETIRED. RUN A MONTHLY 'MAIN' MEETING WITH A SPEAKER ON A VARIED RANGE OF TOPICS AND VARIOUS GROUPS THAT OPERATE THROUGH THE MONTH IN A WIDE RANGE OF SUBJECTS. WE ARE AFFILIATED TO THE THIRD AGE TRUST.

Operation of community hall, which is hired to various groups and private individuals.

SPONSERED ACTIVITIES BY THE SCHOOL CHILDREN, FAMILY EVENTS AND SOCIAL EVENTS

The Trust is Christian body making grants for YMCA Associations to provide benefits for young people in the areas of health, education, housing and support for improved employment activities. Activities are open to those of the Christian faith, other faith or no faith ? and without any restriction due to class or creed.

Choral singing

Children and young people out of school time learn basic skills in art and culture, sport and recreation, environment, conservation and heritage activities. We also welcome people with disabilities to participate.

For the benefit of the wider Christian ministry and fellowship

The maintenance and upkeep of the fabric and churchyard of All Saints church, St. Paul's Walden and any other charitable activities connected with the church

Fundraising activities for parents and children of St Helen's School including children's cinema afternoons & discos, parents' ball, quiz night, summer fair and Easter craft fair

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education, physical and mental health of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development and well being

Through fund raising activities we raise money to improve on facilities within the school.

School extra curricular activities and fundraising

THE OBJECT OF PRESTON SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT PRESTON PRIMARY SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: 1) DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; 2) ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

The promotion and advancement of the education of the public in the cultivation,appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts. The conservation and preservation of the UK's artistic heritage, and the giving of aid to the preservation of the artistic heritage of the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public

Provide a social centre for the general benefit of the residents of the community.

The charity helps provide money for courses, school equipment, trips and additional teaching skills for all pupils. The aim is to enhance their schooling experience and broaden their minds.

Income is from fund-raising events either on our own or in conjunction with other charities/non-charities. Examples of the events are Speaker Dinners, Raft races on the River Ouse, Charity Golf Days and Cycle Challenges.We try to get to know a charity before providing funds by asking the charity to provide a speaker and tell about the charity. Mainly providing support for local 'organisations'

We are a small Charity that organises social events for the children of Whitehill and Highbury Schools to help build a community between the two schools whilst also raising much-needed funds for both schools. Events and fundraising activities include family gatherings, school discos, raffles, special occasions fundraisers, ice cream Fridays, and other events at the school.

Amateur chamber orchestra

Makes grants to Church of England Schools in Offley and Cockernhoe. Gives financial assistance to persons of either sex, who are resident in Offley and who have not attained the age of 25 years; for outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books in order to prepare for, or to enter, a profession, trade or calling.

To promote the Christian faith and to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the town of Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding area, primarily by providing an annual event in the summer.

To collect and distribute emergency aid for refugees from war, oppression, natural disasters, climate change, and those being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, or membership of a particular social group or political opinion.

WE PROVIDE CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGE OF 4 AND 14 WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN VARIOUS SKILLS. THEY EARN BADGES UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THESE SKILLS. WE MEET ONCE A WEEK DURING TERM TIME.
