THE CHARITY SEEKS TO PROMOTE A KNOWLEDGE OF CERAMICS, TO SUPPORT THOSE IN PRACTICE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO OBTAIN SKILLS IN THIS CRAFT AT A TIME WHEN FUNDING FOR FOR CERAMIC EDUCATION IS IN DECLINE. TO THIS END IT PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER , HOLDS LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS AND PARTICIPATES IN IN EVENTS WHERE THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO TRY THEIR HAND AT MAKING POTS ON THE WHEEL.

Hemel Hempstead Lions operates in the area of Hemel Hempstead and its surrounding area. It makes grants and donations to local community projects including youth, the elderly and those with special needs and deserving individuals and organisations. Hemel Hempstead Lions also make donations to Lions International projects.

Our PTA works together with our school, parents, pupils, local community and other stakeholders help to organise a range of events and activities to raise funds for the educational enhancement of the pupils at HJPS whilst also having a residual and positive lasting impact in the community is resides.

The objective of the Friends of Yorke Mead is to advance the education of the pupils of Yorke Mead JMI School, by developing relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school, by engaging in activities which support the school, and by providing facilities or items for education at the school in consultation with the Governing Body.

The objectives of the charity are to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Africa and to assist in the relief of suffering of persons in need. These objectives are achieved by means of television broadcast, Christian meetings, seminars, conventions, crusades, Education training, Accommodation / Housing, audio and visual material, etc

Village Hall

Monies are raised for the Association through fund raising events, many of which were occasions when parents, pupils and staff could come together socially. For example a Summer Fayre, a Christmas Fayre, a firework display, a general knowledge quiz, a golf day, several second hand uniform sales, and cake and chocolate sales.

We operate across the UK targeting vulnerable and disadvantaged youth that need support and guidance. We provide opportunities for Employment, Education, Training, Mentorship, Sports and Recreation as well as Mental Health support.

AS A PTA WE ORGANISE A WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THE VALUE ADDED ACTIVITIES OF THE SCHOOL RANGING FROM EVENTS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY, SUCH AS THE LEAVERS PRESENTS, CHRISTINGLE SERVICES AND CHRISTMAS TREE FOR THE SCHOOL, FUN SOCIAL EVENTS FOR CHILDREN SUCH AS PANTOMIMES, MAD MONEY, DISCOS AND OUR LARGER FUNDRAISING EVENTS INCLUDING THE CHRISTMAS AND SUMMER FAIRS.

The object of the charity is "the provision and maintenance of the village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Hastoe and the surrounding district without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for: meetings, lectures and classes, other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation". The charity raises funds to restore the village hall and meet the object.

Operation of the 12th Letchworth Scout Group

Fundraising activities with monies raised, used for purchases / activities solely at Malvern Way School.

The objects of the trust are set out in the trust deed and are ''such exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees in their absolute discretion from time to time think fit''

The Friends? objective is to use its funds (the Trust Fund) for the preservation, repair, maintenance, restoration, improvement and ornamentation of the fabric of the Parish Church of Great Berkhamsted and of the Churchyards occupied by or belonging to the Church. The charity is based and focused in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire which is an ancient market town with a long and important history

We promote community participation in healthy recreation by advancing the sport of Box Lacrosse, and of Lacrosse as a whole. To this end, we deliver inclusive opportunities to learn the sport on a monthly basis under the guidance of international coaches, and supplement this with the provision of match days and opportunities to play in tournaments in the UK and abroad.

Scouting for boys and girls aged between 5-16. Young leaders and explorers unit also attached to group. Guidance, mentoring, outdoor activities, sports, competitions, fund raising, camping, badge activity.

The charity operates in Tring raising funds for Bishop Wood School

Supporting individuals and groups in and around Bishop's Stortford and Stansted, raising money through events such as our annual Santa Sleigh.

We are the Parent Teachers Association of Harvey Road School. We raise money to help support the school and provide equipment and extra-curricula activities for the benefit of all children at the school.
