Our advisory panel shares expertise with the Hounslow Council/the Hogarth's House Trust team, with whom we worked on the Mulberry Garden Project to build a learning studio & create a new "exhibition garden" with planting and replica pet memorials, completed in 2022

This Charity has been involved in buiding a Secondary School in UGBODU , where every Member of this Charity comes from. This new School is the only one in the Town; and the purpose is to stop indegenous Primary School Leavers from having to up-root or travel incredibly long distances to achieve Secondary School education.

Operates in the London Borough of Hounslow, specifically the area around Hanworth Park. Activities: fundraising to preserve and promote the built heritage around Hanworth Park, specifically: St George's Church, St George's Church Yard, Tudor Walls, Tudor Stable Block, Georgian Rectory, Hanworth Park House. Educational activities to raise the profile of local heritage in the community.

During 2012- 13, DDA carried out cultural event attended by 110 people. This highlighted Somali culture and brought together people from different background aimed at promoting social cohesion and integration of migrant community. DDA also provided information & advice to 80 individuals on wide ranging services. Recruited, trained and used the service of 3 volunteers in delivering its services.

General Relief of Need

An educational and social work charity with additional youth remit working in a disadvantaged areas. Provision of equipment & furniture to local day nursery; ad hoc literacy support but regular sessions have not proved possible; consortium with other charities in area to provide a Summer Project, which assisted St George's (Hanworth) Youth Club to run two activity weeks for local youngsters.

Advising, assisting and supporting all existing Watches, and the setting up of new Watches, in the London Borough of Hounslow. The actual activities vary from time to time in accordance with needs and circumstances, but currently include seeking and obtaining funding, obtaining and distributing street signs, window stickers and information/advice leaflets, and organising "Knowledge Evenings".
