Hounslow School of LifeSaving (HSLS) is a lifesaving club teaching Juniors (5-12) the Rookie Lifeguard syllabus; 12 +work on senior awards. (providing a gateway to the NPLQ and other water based organisations.)Resuscitation is also taught. Juniors are expected to be able to swim 25m confidently in a swimming pool. Organising social and cultural activities to help communities and enhance awareness of health, cultural integration and education among the community members.

From Jan 2012 to Mar 2020 The Shelter Project Hounslow (TSPH) volunteers provided homeless men with a warm meal, overnight accommodation and breakfast over winter months in local Christian churches. Such communal shelters are not compliant with Covid regulations so TSPH now operates as Cafe Together to offer a warm welcome and a hot meal to the vulnerable in society more generally.

The promotion of community fellowship by the mentoring and encouragement of boys and girls aged between 11 and 14 to participate in 2 day touch rugby festivals organised by the charity and attended by professional premiership rugby players.

We distribute food along with food hampers, baby essentials, toiletries, sanitary kits, dental kits etc to those who need it along with other basic necessities. We also provide emergency food parcels. We conduct classes & workshops on period poverty, dental hygiene and support, CV classes, life skills workshops and a support group. We also try to do delivery of cooked meals to those who need it.

Examples : aid for specific projects like exercise equipment, baby changing facilities, play area for visiting children. We offer financial assistance through a Hardship Fund for individuals in proven need. We fund emergency accommodation on release.We consider ad hoc requests brought by other agencies, and staff

Supporting children with physical disabilities who are receiving their education in the London Borough of Hounslow by helping to provide resources which are outside the statutory duty of the local education authority.

It provides help and support to children and young people up to the age of 23 years for those living or working in Hounslow and neighobouring boroughs for education training and sport by making grants to individuals and organisations, paying fees and sponsoring events so as to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.
