The Charlie Froud Foundation has been set up in memory of Charlie, a 14 year old boy who died in October 2008 when the light aircraft he was traveling in, crashed in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. The Christopher Ewart-Biggs Memorial Trust was created in memory of the British ambassador to Ireland who was killed by the IRA in 1976. Covenant Players is an international Christian repertory theatre company. We are a communications and educational resource, providing performances and training in service to the church, schools, prisons and diverse organisations across the wider community.

As the objects of the charity are not limited to any specific areas of charitable activity, the trustees receive a number of applications for donations. Twice yearly they review the applications received during the previous six months and select the donees from those applications.

The purposes of the Trust are mainly, but not exclusively, the advancement of the Christian religion. Following the death of the last family trustee, the agreement with HCPT provides that the income of the Trust should be directed towards churches needing assistance for fabric repairs, within the remit of HCPT.
