The charity raises money to provide additional equipment and activities for the children of Binstead Primary School. The funds are raised through summer and Christmas fayres as well as mufti days, cake sales and other small fundraising events that are often organised with the help from the children.

Financial assistance to Protestant widows to relieve financial hardship including one-off grants for items such as essential kitchen equipment, semi-medical items such as remote-control easy lift armchairs etc.

The trust provides accommodation for elderly ladies, preferably of the protestant faith.

Supporting children and young adults with life limiting conditions or terminal illness and their families who come under Southampton Children's Hospital, the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Ward, Southampton and Naomi House Children's Hospice. We offer financial relief for families experiencing hardship and offer families the opportunity to make some magical memories

CLINICAL RESEARCH INTO ASTHMA AND ALLERGIES

We promote education in botany, horticulture, ecology and environmental science on the Isle of Wight. We stimulate interest and advance knowledge through organizing events including talks, walks, outings and workshops. Where possible, we provide support for students pursuing a career in horticulture and for appropriate projects in parks and gardens which advance mental and physical health

Maintenance, management and promotion of St Lawrence Village Hall.

To contribute to the development of young people aged between 6 & 18 in achieving their full physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals & responsible citizens. We promote a range of indoor & outdoor activities, including camping, hiking & life skills with emphasis on boating for older members. All are encouraged to gain badges for skills developed in the activities promoted.

During Covid the three Trustees have been maintaining links with island schools and businesses in order to start work as soon as restrictions and funding allow.

The IWMDDF was established to advance, promote & encourage the study & practice of the arts of music, dance, speech & drama. It aims to introduce new classes to the festival, encouraging those of all abilities to enter. If funds allow, it would also like to highlight exceptionally talented students & provide them with opportunities to perform at other events, such as federation summer schools.

Providing help and advice about Dyslexia to parents, teachers and adults resident in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. This is done by providing an email helpline, web-based information and organising open meetings covering related topics. HDA can also arrange training and assessments, via a Bursary Fund.

Rotary on the Wight is an integral part of Rotary International in Britain and Ireland (RIBI). The club meets regularly on the Isle of Wight and organises local events to raise funds for charitable giving for local people in need and for international and national causes sponsored by RIBI.

Main activity: The provision of free debt advice. Supplementary:- Assistance with applications for welfare benefits.
