The advancement of the study, practice and appreciation of the art and science of music, and in particular of 'Early Music', eg by organising workshops, lectures, courses etc, both live and online, and by disseminating information relating to early music to SEMF members and others. SEMF is one of 9 UK regional Early Music Fora; our main area of operation is the south and south east of England.

Promotion social, recreational,sporting and other facilities for the village of Calbourne and surrounding areas. Provision of Village Hall and Recreation Ground. Hall is used for meetings and social events. Recreation ground is used for team sports and a general amenity for the village.

The hall is an important amenity for the local village (Porchfield) and the outskirts. Hiring the hall out raises funds to ensure the hall is maintained in a safe condition. Having local clubs and organisations use the hall gives the village a strong focal point.

The Rotary Club of Ryde is an integral part of the Rotary International of Britain & Ireland (RIBI) organisation and is responsible for raising charity funds for local good causes, the sponsoring of local events and for raising funds in support of international and national causes sponsored by the RIBI.

Support the serving soldiers of the Parachute Regiment & Airborne Force.Maintain Links between past & present members of the Airborne Forces.Provide welfare support for past and present members (and their dependants) in need of assistance.Commemorate & remember those former members who have died in the service of their country.

The relief of hardship or provision of welfare of any member or former member of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service or the spouse partner or widow, widower or dependant of any member or former member.In addition to the foregoing the Trustees have the power to consider similar grant payments to employees contracted to the Service.

THE BRIGHSTONE SCHOOL ASSOCIATION ARRANGES FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR THE SCHOOL AND VILLAGE COMMUNITY WHERE ALL PROCEEDS RAISED ARE USED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILDREN AT THE SCHOOL.

Provide grants for course fees and expenses. They consist of training in Ophthalmic out patient practical skills and decision making for Junior doctors, nursing, orthoptists and technical staff. The organisation also provides travel expenses and fees for speakers to attend local Ophthalmic nurse training on the Isle of Wight and will support local Ophthalmic research projects.

The Church provides religious services for public worship, including Spiritual Teaching, Philosophy and Healing together with special services, readings, functions and events throughout the year.

We organise social activities to generate funds for equipment or facilites which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Maintenance and electrical supply costs of lighting for "The Cascade" and "Ventnor Park". Bulb and plant installation at various points in Ventnor Town. Planning and installation of a childrens play area "Sea Breeze"and adult open-air gymnasium OutFit. Maintenance of two main stone bus shelters.Provide floral displays in Ventnor town. Renovation of open space known as Flowers Brook

Conferences, lectures and events to promote knowledge and interest in the life and work of Alfred Tennyson. Publications including the annual 'Tennyson Research Bulletin'

Provision for facilities for locals & local groups. Poetry Group. Alverstone Natural History. Dance classes. Pilates.

To provide housing for retired single or widowed ladies or retired married couples of the parish of St. Mary's Church, Cowes.

Fundraising for the school. We carry out Summer & Christmas Fairs, and do other forms of fundraising via Christmas Card, Tea Towel and similar sales. We undertake to fund and/or run events for the school children and their families.

Wayfarers Fellowship Evangelical Church seeks to promote the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith as set out in the Constitution. The church is primarily but not exclusively for the benefit of the community of the Isle of Wight.
