The charity carried out an extensive programme for primary and special schools in north and east London boroughs comprising classroom sessions, school assemblies, orchestral workshops and a schools concert at Hackney Empire for all participating schools.

Place of Worship; Community Centre

CHABAD ISLINGTON IS THE ONLY JEWISH INSTITUTION SERVING THE BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON, LONDON, UK. WE RUN SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL & CULTURAL EVENTS.

We tackle social isolation because it shortens lives and can't be cured by medicine. We bring people together to improve health and wellbeing with award-winning activities that build confidence and enable everyone to contribute to and benefit from a friendlier and more supportive community.

St Clement's Church is a welcoming parish church serving a very mixed neighbourhood on the fringe of the City of London in EC1. It is a place for worship and provides pastoral support for individuals and families. Our historic building provides a common space for events for local people. We also give a home for musicians, orchestras and music groups for rehearsals and performance.

Mildmay Community Partnership exists to serve the needs of residents, organisations and businesses located in the Mildmay Ward in the London Borough of Islington. It manages the Mildmay Community Centre (formally the Mayville); is the lead agency for neighbourhood management in the ward and delivers services and activities for and on behalf of the local community.

Regular public worship open to all;provision of sacred space for personal prayer;pastoral services including visiting the sick and the bereaved,promoting Christianity through events,meetings, and literature distribution;promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities for senior citizens,parents, toddlers youths etc; supporting other charities in UK and overseas; weekly homework club.

We provide education and training services for the benefit of residents living in London Boroughs who wish to maximise their potential in life by exploring opportunities to develop their life long learning and personal growth.

The principal activities of the social enterprise are an artisan bakery, bicycle workshop and light manufacturing. This work provides time limited (usually 3 months) trainee placements for men and women who suffer from mental ill health and forms a part of their recovery and social inclusion. The aim of the enterprise is a move on of trainees to employment or further training.

*Efdal Supplementary School and Kids Club which provide a bridge for our local community to integrate them into the British society. It is an after school clubs and provide free internet and computer access, also play ground for our children.*Fatih Community Centre which provide a caring for the community to support them to become a responsible, trustworthy and successful member of the society.

We seek to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our parish community through worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel, and provision of pastoral care for people living in the parish.

To renovate and adapt the de-consecrated and derelict St. Paul's Church, Islington, a grade 2* listed building, to provide educational facilities which are occupied by the St. Paul's Steiner School and to provide a community space.

Relief Of Need

Omnom is a new high-street food and well being concept that promotes conscious living and social responsibility.For every meal served at Omnom, a hot, healthy, nutritionally balanced meal will be served in the developing world providing relief from poverty on a sustainable basis. Within the unit will also be a mindfulness and yoga space offering physical health and emotional wellbeing.

We support Asian mothers who are fleeing domestic abuse. Our services enable women to gain support and understanding within a safe and confidential environment. We provide advocacy, guidance, emotional support, workshops, social activities, referrals and signposting. We currently employ 6 paid members of staff.

Czech School Without Borders, London is a supplementary school that provides education for more than 190 children. Our classes are open to all children interested in learning the Czech language, history and culture, no matter what their educational or linguistic abilities. Our main educational activities are carried out every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday during the school term.

The Church's activities are directed to the fulfulment of its object: ".....to spread the truth of the healing Christ as revealed to this age by Mary Baker Eddy." To achieve this object the Church continues its main activities, namely the holding of public services, provision of a Sunday School, maintenance of a Reading Room and sponsorship of public lectures.

To provide facilities for the community to use, in particular youngsters, ladies and the elderly;To offer a variety of activities and classes for our members;To make available information and advice from people outside the Charity such as such as doctors, teachers, psychologist to educate and help people; andTo raise funds to support the Charity and its work.

The principal activity of the charity in the year under review is to preach, teach, and practice the word of God according to the holy scriptures.To minister to the spiritual and temporal welfare of mankind with the view to attain eternal salvation.

Our activities include After School and Holiday Play schemes (4-11years), Stay & Play (under 5s), Tuesday Lunch and Socials, Arts and Crafts sessions, Family fun days, community interest faith and cultural groups, community hires and community festivals. As a strategic community hub we support a wide range of TRA's and ward partnership meetings

Freightliners Farm is a city farm based in Islington, London. It aims to provide a rural type environment in an urban setting, which is open and accesible to all. The focus is on education, community participation and access to opportunities particularly for isolated and vulnerable people. Activities are based around farming, horticulture, animal care, crafts, food production and the environment.
