The charity runs a weekly foodbank in the London Borough of Islington which is open to all residents of of Islington and the surrounding area without the need for referral. Because we are set up to ensure that people with financial difficulties do not go hungry we do not require a referral. Fresh and staple food, essential toiletries and household items are given to individuals and families.

LPPI runs educational projects for people of all ages from diverse communities, to achieve their full potential. Also providing the community with advice, translation and interpreting services, on welfare benefits, housing and other assistance. We undertake physical and mental wellbeing activities. We focus particularly on people at risk of being socially marginalised and promote social inclusion.

Touchdown Dance is a professional dance company of visually impaired and sighted dancers. Our aim to provide the opportunity for visually impaired people to participate in dance with sighted or other disabled people. We run workshops in schools, health and art settings and tour in the UK and abroad. We welcome commissions and collaborations. We provide information in Braille and large print.

We have out door space with permanent climbing structure and room for freeplay. All four members of staff all with NVQ3 qualifications. We also have good links with other agencies.

The charity manages Hargrave Hall, Girdlestone Community Centre and Harry Rice Hall in Archway London N19 , which are made available to a variety of groups and other users for the benefit of the local community.
