Young Enterprise empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills. We make the connection between school and the world of work, enabling young people to develop the knowledge and attitudes they need to succeed. More than 214,000 young people from across England and Wales have participated in a Young Enterprise learning experience this year supported by around 6,000 volunteers.

To brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by providing play and distraction in healthcare settings (throughout UK and NI) to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation caused by their illness.

The SCF is a charitable organisation that tackles inequality by promoting greater economic inclusion for disadvantaged young people, particularly young women and people with disabilities. Its programmes focus on employability and entrepreneurship, helping young entrepreneurs and jobseekers access the skills, networks, opportunities and support they need to achieve economic power and participation.

To promote Christian influence in a secular world

CVQO is accredited by Pearson, City & Guilds and the Institute of Leadership and Management to deliver a wide range of vocational qualifications including the BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3 Diplomas in Teamwork, & Personal Development and Music and up to the equivalent of a Level 7 City & Guilds Membership Master's Level Degree for youth and Adult Instructors in schools and the voluntary sector.

Our aim is to introduce others to the Christian faith, through personal witnessing by members of the charity and through providing Bibles and New Testaments in many different areas of everyday life. Members operate in branches throughout the British Isles and also certain places in Eastern Europe. Funds are also used to provide Scriptures in other countries alongside local Christians.

ISBA aims to support and advance the financial and operational performance in schools. It achieves this through: providing accurate and timely training, advising and assisting schools so as to help them benefit the public through achieving the highest standards of administration and ancillary services.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST ELDERLY RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES.

Exists to improve the lives of people affected by epilepsy.

The Foundation's programme, Look Good Feel Better, is a national charity helping to boost the physical and emotional wellbeing of people living with cancer. It runs confidence boosting workshops for Women, Young Adults and Men in around 140 key cancer support locations throughout the UK as well as online. Online tutorials and booklets are also provided.

The British Humanist Association (Humanists UK) promotes Humanism and supports and represents people who seek to live good lives without religious or superstitious beliefs. Humanists UK provides educational resources on Humanism and humanist funerals and other ceremonies, and campaigns against religious privilege and discrimination on grounds of religion or belief.

Our vision is to make a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged children and young people through our commitment to quality charitable work.Our projects are aimed at meeting the needs of children and young people in the British Isles aged up to 25 who are disadvantaged physically, mentally or socially.We fund capital projects and deliver operational social programmes.

Our focus is on non-confrontational, pragmatic, science-based programmes & solutions to build a world where biodiversity thrives & people conserve nature both for its own sake and for its ability to enrich human lives. Our wildlife park, field programmes and academy come together to deliver a unique approach to tackling today's conservation problems.

The charity's primary objective is the advancement of education by the study and practice of Thoracic Surgery and related medical subjects. This involves the organisation of European Board exams in Thoracic Surgery, organising annual conferences, supporting scientific publications of thoracic surgery and facilitating exchange of teachers and trainees in thoracic surgery.

The David Nott Foundation provides surgeons and medical professionals with the skills they need to provide relief and assistance in conflict and natural disaster zones around the world. As well as providing the best medical care, David Nott Foundation surgeons train local healthcare professionals; leaving a legacy of education and better health outcomes.

An independent source of information and support to voluntary and community organisations, through being an independent voice, providing information and training, running conferences and fairs, undertaking research projects and providing books and websites on topics of interest to the voluntary and community sectors. DSC also runs the Annual Social Change Awards.

The promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education of the public in the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts and the giving of aid to the preservation of the artistic heritage of the United Kingdom and other countries for the benefit of the public.

The Objects of the Charity are to advance the education of the public by assisting in the establishment, maintenance, operation and development of libraries and library services in the United Kingdom (which are either public or from which the public may benefit) and to further such other charitable purposes consistent with the above as the Trustees, in their absolute discretion, shall determine.
