Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) Limited is a charity working to improve the lives of women and girls through its programme work. Free The Wild endeavours to stop the suffering of wild animals in captivity and educate global communities on the importance in sustaining wildlife. We aim to move mistreated animals into sanctuaries or rehabilitate them for release into the wild. We work to educate and improve on zoos and likened establishments through professional carers, handlers and veterinary support.

The relief of mental and physical illness resulting from substance abuse, addictive or compulsive behaviour, stress or depression, amongst the legal profession, their families and staff. To educate the public and the legal profession, in the causes and consequences of alcohol and drug addiction and other forms of dependence, and in the recognition and management of stress.

ADIf works to prevent animal cruelty, our work inc. rescue/care of neglected animals. To advance scientific research into alternative techniques/substitutes to replace use of animals in medical/other research Lord Dowding Fund for Humane Research transferred from founding organisation National Anti-Vivisection Society to ADIf in resolution approved by Society?s directors on/effective 26 June 2016.

The charity relieves immediate financial distress when a member, who must be Serving in the RAF, dies from whatever cause, by making grants to their nominated beneficiary.

Barchester Healthcare Foundation helps older people as well as working age adults with a learning or physical disability or mental health issue across England, Scotland and Wales. We give grants to help reduce isolation and loneliness, promote group activities and generally improve people's mobility and quality of life. The charity supplies accurate information on Christian Science and its founder to the press, media in all its forms, Parliament, public sector institutions such as schools and hospitals, other religious organisations and private individuals.

Walk21 works with local communities to assess their environment and identify opportunities for improving walkability with the app. We run an international conference to disseminate best practice and share knowledge and network. We advocate for walking at a range of international forums and run workshops with local governments to develop the capacity to deliver better walkability.

The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes comprises dog and cat rescue and rehoming organisations across the British Isles.The Association works to promote best practice and high welfare and operational standards across the sector, engage effectively with a range of external stakeholders, including Governments, and bring rescue organisations together to share experiences, learning and networking.

To Act as a benevolent fund and make grants to those in financial need who qualify under our consitution. And the advancement of accounting education by bursaries and grants to student in financial need.

52 Lives changes someone's life every week of the year and inspires people to be kind. People nominate someone in need and every week we choose someone to help, share their story and provide what they need. We also run extra projects to help larger numbers of people. In addition, we provide Kindness Workshops for schools which empower children to create positive change and improve their wellbeing.

Our mission is to provide tailored information and peer support for anyone diagnosed with any cancer in their 20s, 30s or 40s through a range of activities.

The objects of the BBA are, for the public benefit, the relief of those suffering from burn injuries by:1 Disseminating knowledge and stimulating prevention in the field of burns2 Promoting education in all aspects of burn care;3 Promoting and supporting research into scientific, clinical and societal aspects of burn injury. 4Promoting standards in the delivery of burn care

The charity's main objective remains the control of feral cats, by limiting their numbers throught neutering and returning to site, by providing veterinary care where necessary and by finding homes for kittens and tame stray cats. Each year the charity manages to neuter more than 1000 cats, home more than 1000 cats and provide veterinary care, other than neutering, for some 750 cats.

War Memorials Trust works for the protection and conservation of war memorials in the UK. The charity provides an advisory service to anyone with a war memorial enquiry or concern as well as administering grants schemes which support repair and conservation works. It also provides educational material to engage young people with our war memorial heritage. Charity 1062255 was merged with this one.

The Buddy Bag Foundation provides relief of material hardship and need amongst children, young people and parents who are fleeing domestic abuse for the public benefit in England and Wales, primarily, but not exclusively, by providing items of basic necessity and comfort.

The objects are to provide grants:a. to eligible applicants in significant financial hardship as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic including current and recent former employees, their immediate families or dependents, or other individuals closely connected with Caledonia Investments plc; and b. to other charities and charitable causes as considered appropriate by the Trustees.
