The Resource Centre is a resident-led self-supporting community charity in Thanington, an acknowledged area of poverty & disadvantage on the outskirts of Canterbury. As a focal point for the community it caters mainly for families, children and young people, with well recognised successful crime reduction, significantly reduced anti-social behaviour, food banks, hot meals and community engagement.

Unwanted animals are brought to the sanctuary where they are looked after until a new, caring home has been found for them.For those animals who cannot be rehomed, Wanderers Haven is their permanent residence.
