The charity records, studies and researches wild birds and other fauna and flora; operates nature reserves; provides facilities and educational programmes and gives advice to local authorities and organisations on conservation related issues

To assist children in pre-school development by (a) providing safe and satisfying group play in which parents have the right to take part (b) encouraging other charitable activities through which parents may help children.

We work for the benefit of the Nepalese / Gurkha veterans and their families residing in Folkestone, Kent and the surrounding area by promoting education, good health, social welfare and Nepalese history & culture to tackle the poverty, sickness and distress.

We serve as a mosque for the Muslim community. We also act as a centre for inter-faith education. Additionally, we provide facilities for the Islamic education of children and young people. We help to collect funds for various charity organisations. We work closely with Gravesham Borough Council and the police to increase their awareness of Islam. We provide regular outings and organised events.

We meet every Sunday and also in small groups throughout the week. With a heart for the local community, we seek ways to serve people and needs, providing a variety of community activities and ways of exploring the Christian faith.

The purpose of Wilmington Community Church CIO is to promote the Christian faith in the area of Wilmington Kent and surrounding areas and using video technology reach world wide. It is also our purpose to to provide social support in the local area including supporting the vulnerable, befriending and some domestic help and through our counselling centre offer counselling services.
