Holy Cross Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, sicial and ecumenical.

We run a community centre in South London (Southwark, Lambeth borders). We host a wide range of user groups meeting needs for many different demographic groups. Our priorities are to build community cohesion, address deprivation, embrace diversity and promote health for people in our local community.

The preservation, renovation, reconstruction and enhancement of Herne Bay Pier as a building of special architectural and historic interest. The promotion and use of the pier for recreational purposes and a community and heritage building for the use and benefit of all inhabitants and visitors to Herne Bay.

Borden Grammar School Voluntary Fund consists of donations from various sources which are used to meet the costs of school activites including school trips, purchase of equipment, building projects, minibus running costs etc

Regular public Christian worship open to all. Providing for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, inc. visiting sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and groups. Taking religious assemblies in schools. Provision of youth club with Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through events and literature. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

Include.org provides creative community activities, training and consultancy to make the world more welcoming for people with understanding or speaking difficulties. We empower people with communication needs to help train inclusive communication partners within The Include Choir. We teach a range of evidence-based techniques to help others include people with communication needs.

We provide subsidised veterinary treatment for animals owned by local people on low income. We take in and rehome unwanted, abandoned and stray animals.We respond to enquires from the public on a whole range of animal welfare issues. We also provide volunteering opportunities for those who wish to support our work, including trusteeship, fundraising and providing work experience placements.

Space 2 Be Me provides information and support and social activities to families with children and young people with Special needs and/or disabilities who live or go to school in West Kent.

The charity is a privately funded grant-making charity. It issues no appeals for funding.

Preschool- we follow the EYFS curriculum.

Promoting in the ecclesiastical parish of Farningham the whole mission of the Church according to The Parochial Church Councils (Powers) Measure 1958 and the Church Representation Rules

Shepherdswell pre-school plans its activities within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The qualified and experienced staff provide a variety of well-prepared activities each day to help the children learn and develop through play. The children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace and the children's happiness and welfare comes first at all times.

Recruiting and training volunteers to visit families in their own homes, offering emotional and practical support to families with children under 5.

Christian worship, teaching, personal growth and community works including working with children, youth, vulnerable adults, the homeless, the disadvantaged, night clubs and other churches.
