Under the aforementioned Deed of Trust and subsequent amendments, the Trustees are empowered by the Trust to make gifts or grants for any purpose coming within the legal definition of charitable purpose.

St. Lukes PCC has the responsibility for co-operating with the Reverend Anne Bourne, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelical, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church Centre complex of St. Lukes which is available to the community in general.

TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF PATIENTS OF GUY'S AND ST THOMAS' HOSPITAL, AND THEIR SATELLITE UNITS AND THE EVELINA LONDON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM KIDNEY DISEASE OR KIDNEY FAILURE AND TO SUPPORT RESEARCH AT GUY'S AND ST THOMAS' HOSPITAL.

The promotion of the whole mission of the Church in the parish of Hawkhurst and maintaining St Laurence Church through a range of services on both Sundays and during the week. As well as the regular services, which all are welcome to attend the Church is open every day for anyone to enter for private prayer and contemplation.

We provide good quality early years care and education, in an area of social & economic deprivation.

The charity works with individuals and groups from the BAMER and wider commmunity on issues that affect them. The charity aims to promote community cohesion and reduce social isolation.We have volunteering and mentoring opportunities, community events and youth projects and advance social and cultural intergration of disadvantaged BAME, refugee, asylum seekers and migrant communities.

Beekeeping and education of the public in bees and pollination

We run gymnastics classes for beginners to elite from walking to adults, we also have a disabilities section who regularly compete, our services are highly needed in our area, with many children adults and disabilities making use of them from a day to day basis, we make the impossible possible and dreams come true!

Religious activities providing advocacy advice and information to the public. This includes production of a regular Members Newsletter, sale of rosaries, tapes, CDs and books and other literature to encourage the spreading of the messages from Medjugorje.

The elimination of discrimination and promotion of good relations & strengthening of community cohesion within Kent, via the organisation and delivery of community based arts activities, casework, public education and partnership working with organisations from the statutory and voluntary sector.

St. Mary's Nursery provides care and education for pre-school children in a purpose built facility. We aim to provide a secure and caring environment where children may play and learn at their own pace with the support of appropriately trained staff. We provide play opportunities for all children from all backgrounds which reach the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The Society promotes public concerts at which the members perform with professional musicians. The Canterbury Choral Society Youth Choir participates in some concerts with the main choir, and participates in other concerts on its own.

We provide sessional day care and education for children aged 2 to 5 years of age. We operate from our own buildings on land leased from KCC next to St Mary of Charity Primary School. We are registered with OFSTED and provide funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds who meet the Government requirement.Our sessions run daily Monday - Friday 9.00am - 12.00am, 12.30pm - 3.30pm and 9.00am - 3.30pm.
