The object is to advance the arts for the public benefit by the promotion in particular, but not exclusively, of the arts of drama and music. Benenden Preschool supports the care and education of young people in Benenden and the surrounding villages. This is achieved by providing a high quality, welcoming, setting where child-centred activities enable children to learn,through play, to explore and engage with resources both inside and outdoors, to be involved and to thinkcreatively.

The Squirrels Pre-School is an organisation that provides pre-school education for children aged 2 years - 4 years old in Canterbury. The majority of time that children spend at the pre-school is covered by Early Years funding received from Kent County Council.

The criteria for residency is that the applicants must be of modest means and to live or work in the area administered by Canterbury City Council or, who in the opinion of the trustees, have strong links to this area.

The PCC is committed to enabling as many as possible to worship in church and become part of our parish community. Currently we manage a "Trust Fund". We believe that it is no longer financially viable for a Day Centre to be run as we have in the past. Following consultation with the Charity Commission and AgeUK as to the future use of the funds, we donated a considerable sum to a local alms-house charity; we have donated fund to purchase an Age UK minibus; and we support computer classes for the elderly.

Sunflower House is a community building that is all about building community making links and helping people going through a tough time. We offer community programmes that improve the town, support the vulnerable or homeless, and partner with like-minded organisations in the Folkestone area.
