To conserve and promote the historical, architectural and archaeological heritage of the old church at Murston; to advance the education of the public generally and especially in the subjects of history, archaeology, ecology art and design, including the establishment and running of an arts centre and the erection of additional buildings for such purposes at the old church at Murston.

We run the village playing field for cricket, football, tennis, bowls, scouts & children play group. In addition we now own & run a 6 & a half acre wildlife site next to the playing field - 4 acres meadow 2 acres woodland. This is called the Alderbed Meadow Project.

Alleviate distress caused to the breed of dog known as Golden Retrievers which may be ill treated, abandoned or neglected. In cases where Golden Retrievers are abandoned or unwanted, or the dogs can no longer be cared for in their present homes, to re-home the Golden Retrievers to ensure their future well being.

DISPENSING CHARITY FOR THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN

Church activities including regular public services of Christian worship, plus other activities for members and wider community.

The objectives of the Charity are to provide accommodation for poor persons of good character who (except in special cases to be approved by the charity commission) have resided in the area of the parish of Hawkhurst for not less than two years.

The charity manages a countryside centre and tea room in an historic local barn, moved from the site of the Channel Tunnel complex, housing local historic artefacts and information. It also manages an adjacent museum dedicated to the Elham Valley Line Railway, housing many rail based artefacts and the English half of the original model from the Channel Tunnel Exhibition Centre.

We support the work of Kent and Medway NHS Social Care Partnership Trust, for any charitable purpose for the benefit of service users, carers, and staff relating to NHS service, including research.

The Object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of Claremont Primary School. This includes :-1) Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.2) Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school, not normally provided or funded by the LEA or subsequent authorities

The Hall is used by various groups and organisations each week/year

The charity works to improve the delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries. To achieve this the charity: Supplies anaesthetic equipment that is suitable for use in developing world hospitals. Trains medical and technical staff in poor countries to safely deliver anaesthesia and keep anaesthetic equipment in working order. Supports research to improve delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries.

For the purpose of furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England amongst members and former members of the Armed Forces of the Crown.

To provide a welcoming village hall for the purpose of advancing education, religion, health, the arts, culture and heritage, amateur sport, and youth activities, and to provide a meeting place for local societies, groups and organisations and a venue for recreation and parties.

The Trust seeks to promote the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts by the provision of grants and donations to such charitable organisations as the trustees think fit.
