Kentish Opera's purpose is to educate the public in the operatic arts to further the development of public appreciation and taste in said arts. To do so, we perform opera and operetta in English in traditional productions with professional soloists and professional orchestra. In 2022/23 we performed Yeomen of the Guard and presented a Gala opera event.

In accordance with the Trusts Deed the Charity raises funds which are distributed towards the Maintenance of Divine Worship at St. Marys Thurnham

Groups, tutored and self-help, study and take part in classes in many subjects, dance, exercise, musical, dramatic sessions. The emphasis is on shared learning. The activities undertaken by members of this U3A are self-supporting.
