Mediation Services

To assist young persons under the age of 25 who are resident or being educated or trained in the Canterbury area by:- a) giving financial assistance to those preparing for entering upon or engaged in any profession, trade, occupation or service, and b) providing scholarships for study courses at schools, colleges or universities.

Autism Support Crawley is a parent/carer support group for parents, or other relations caring for a person on the autistic spectrum or with other social communication difficulties (with or without a diagnosis). To provide opportunities for connection and education for all ages on topics related to sustainable horticulture and biodiversity.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing opportunities for the playing of cricket and to promote other sporting activities capable of having a beneficial effect on health. To provide opportunities to promote social inclusion and social cohesion for the public benefit by using the game of cricket and using sport more generally to integrate such persons within society.

Providing FREE supportive integrated healthcare therapies to the people of Kent medically referred to us and who are living or coping with Cancers or other serious life altering conditions, such support addressing their wellness and emotional wellbeing needs arising from and as a consequence of their diagnosis and prognosis

The Conflict Research Society fosters research and knowledge about the processes, methods and effectiveness of conflict, and the potential for cooperation and reconciliation. It provides information about conflict research through the website and brings together academics and practitioners for an annual conference on conflict and peace research.

Receiving donations and involved in fundraising activities to support the work of 'helper' in Kigoma, Tanzania which is helping support vulnerable people and providing education and access to support particularly for women and girls.

The Canterbury Rugby Charity promotes participation and interest in the sport of Rugby Football in and around the Canterbury area inorder to improve health, fitness, teamwork and leadership within the local population without descrimination. This is delivered through raising awareness and supporting those involved in making Rugby Football accessable to all.

The main areas of activity this year saw the development of the Inner Vision Music Workshops for Visually Impaired people into 5 areas of London, and the National Tour of the Inner Vision Orchestra These activities have been celebrated in national and regional media including the BBC. The Orchestra and workshops were held under the direction of Baluji Shrivastav OBE, supported by Linda Shanson.

Through Church services, prayer and Bible study sessions that are open to the public without any restrictions. The Church also helps the community by providing help to the Medway Council - Early Help Department by supplying them with food, clothing and vouchers etc. The Church holds Women's conference every August where women come together in prayer. And annual PrayerFest - a prayer program

The rescue and rehoming of unwanted, neglected and stray dogs, undertaking veterinary treatment where necessary and neutering, vaccinating, m/chipping prior to sourcing a suitable new home.

The charity provides the Groombridge Village Hall to meet the needs of the local community and especially all who hire the hall, participate in activities taking place, and attend events there. We aim to provide for an increased and wider range of activities for all ages, with a view to combating social exclusion and without distinction of political, religious or other opinion.

Raising funds and making grants to The Wyvern School, Ashford, Kent for the acquisition of teaching and learning resources and facilities, and for the welfare of pupils.
