For the benefit of the residents of the area of benefit, working with said residents, governmental & other organisations with a common effort to: provide & maintain open spacespromote the conservation, management, maintenance and improvement of the physical & natural environment &provide facilities for the residents with the object of improving the conditions of the life of the inhabitants.

Provision of housing

At present Sittingbourne Lions provides a football club across Sittingbourne for all age groups and ability.

Applications for the support of educational and environmental projects in the parishes of Cromarty and Nigg in Ross and Cromarty are welcomed. Unsolicited appeals from outwith these parishes will not receive a response since the trustees take a proactive approach to grantmaking and the development of projects which they wish to support.

The aim of the 4th Sevenoaks (St Johns) Scout Group is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local and national communities.

Fund raises to provide items for use by the children and teachers of Speldhurst C.E. Primary School.

General Village And SPORTS PROVISION

We are providing group Equine Assisted Therapy and individual Equine Facilitated Learning. Our current participants are young people who are either SEN, SEMH or have a care order and adults with mental health difficulties. We also offer therapeutic riding.

The Charity administers and maintains two Village Halls and is the landlord for Biddenden Squash Club, Biddenden Tennis Club, Biddenden Juniours Football Club and Biddenden Bowls Club

The boxing club is a charity boxing club allowing members fees at a reduced rate so more children and low income families are able to take part in this activity.

MAINTAIN THE VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE BENEFICIAL AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES, AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

The charity provides the use of the hall for the inhabitants of Manston and the surrounding areas. We have a wide range of groups that meet regularly including 4 dancing groups, a singing group, 3 excercise groups and a full time childrens nursery. Our aim is to maintain & improve the Hall for all.

Conservation of woodland and open space in the village of Bearsted.

We are a Scout Group, part of the International Scout Movement. We are based in Rusthall in Royal Tunbridge Wells, and are part of the District, County and National Scout movement. We have places for over 150 Young people aged 6 - 14 and are partnered with an Explorer Unit. We are also affiliated to St. Pauls Church.

We provide a wide range of services for our community. Starting with a local Pre-School to various groups such as Fitness, Dance, Art & Scouts.In addition we allow bookings for Private Hire such as Birthdays, Engagements, Wakes & more

Through rental income from our building, the Malling Memorial Institute makes grants to individuals or projects working with children and young people in the West Malling area. Grants must support their intellectual, emotional or physical improvement and recreation, and/or the propagation amongst them of the principles of the Christian faith as expressed by the Church of England.

To support and maintain the Crundale and Godmersham village hall so that local groups have a place where they can meet and enjoy each others company

Seapoint Canoe Centre is a BCU/AALA approved paddlesport Canoeing Centre, that introduces all ages and abilities to the world of paddlesport.

THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS BY THE PRODUCTION OF PUBLIC STAGE PLAYS AND OPERATIC PERFORMANCES. IN THE LAST YEAR WE PRODUCED TWO MAJOR PRODUCTIONS AT THE STAG THEATRE IN SEVENOAKS AND TWO ONE ACT PLAY TO THREE DRAMA FESTIVALS.

The Trust owns and runs Brook Rural Museum. The Museum is housed in a magnificent 14th century barn and an important early 19th century oast house, and is devoted to an important collection of objects relating to the agriculture of Kent. Most of the collection relates to the period when animals provided the main source of power for farm work.

East Bridge Chorale is a small local choir promoting singing across the ages. We are a non audition choir enjoying choral music

Provision of unsupervised accommodation

We have just returned from South West Uganda where we held clinics for disabled children and assessed their abilities and needs. This enabled us to suggest placements for a special unit at Kitazigurukwa primary school or an outreach teacher we will be supporting February 2015. We are starting a small agricultural project in conjunction with a disabled young man, growing coffee and ground nuts.
