Provides facilities within which physical and mental training and recreation and social moral and intellectual development through the medium of classes and entertainment for the inhabitants of Etchinghill and surrounding district without distinction of sex or of political or religious opinion and other activities normally carried out in a village hall.

The education of the public principally in Hastings and East Sussex in all areas of the arts, but mainly on the visual arts, by providing permanent professional standard gallery space for members to exhibit their work to the public, and by providing a public resource for the development of skills and knowledge, encouraging collaboration, networking and debate within all areas of the arts.

We have a clinic for those on benefits in the Folkestone and Hythe area. This clinic is based at Havelock House, 180 Dover Road, Folkestone, Kent. It operates three times a week. We also support neutering and microchipping in the area.

To give pre-school training and education to 2-5 year old children

The Charity was set up to raise funds to maintain the Village Hall so that it remains the focus of the village, fit for purpose and a place that many different groups can benefit from. Different activities are carried out in the hall to help people of all ages from the very young to senior citizens.

Bredhurst Village Hall is available for hire to residents and non-residents. It is used by community organisations and clubs and for private functions.

THE CHARITY RAISES FUNDS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE SCHOOL. THE CHARITY HOLDS EVENTS AND ORGANISES SOCIAL ACTIVITIES TO ENCOURAGE LINKS BETWEEN HOME AND SCHOOL.

The Peter Marlow Foundation encourages, examines and celebrates the photography of humanity, its impact and legacy. From 2024 it will do this from a gallery based in Dungeness, Kent, housing an extensive archive and library, and offering workshops, exhibitions, residencies and talks to schools, the public and professionals.

Promotion of the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities, achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training and activities.

The provision and maintenance of the village hall for the use of residents of Keston and its neighbourhood including use for meetings, lectures and classes and forms of recreation and leisure/social time occupation.

Provide safe premises & facilities for the use of the public

The Harbour Church Whitstable enables ordinary people to live out their faith in the localcommunity and in a global church context. We offer a place for worship and prayer, provide teaching about the gospel, and inform and develop knowledge about the Christian Faith.We reach out to the community and provide pastoral care.

Religious activities

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION & WELL BEING OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION & ACTIVITY AT THE SCHOOL (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY)..

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of St Stephen's and the neighbourhood by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation to improve the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

Provide confidential emotional support to anyone in Tunbridge Wells and elsewhere who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those who may be at risk of suicide, at any time, day or night, and to promote a better understanding in society of suicide, suicidal behaviour and the value of expressing feelings.

Offer a free, professional, confidential mediation service to all residents of West Kent involved in neighbour/community disputes and parent/teen family problems.
