PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION - RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE LANGTON GREEN PRIMARY SCHOOL.

To raise funds for the Discovery School via School Fayres, Donations, Gift Sales , Fireworks displays, Quiz Nites etc and any other Fund Raising activity deemed necessary by the PTA

Providing a telephone help line for those diagnosed with or suffering from prostate cancer, their families and friends, holding monthly open meetings for such people at which health and other relevant professionals give talks on this cancer, its treatment and impact, followed by opportunities for discussion with new and existing members; raising money for new medical equipment for Kent hospitals.

The Folkestone & Hythe Orchestral Society rehearses and performs classical concerts in the South East area of the UK.

The object of the Association to ensure there are adequate facilities for recreation in every city, town and village in Kent, and, to fulfil this object to encourage the provision, improvement, retention and use of playing fields, children's playgrounds and other recreational centres. To this end the Charity provides grants to Parish Councils and other sports organisations.

Harmony is a voluntary based fully integrated performing arts group, specialising in activities including singing and dancing to technical and prop making for the disadvantaged and all others that can care and share in the community. Through Harmony we offer the young and the not so young, opportunities to discover talents and develop skills which in turn will enable them to grow in confidence.

Umbrella organisation for sporting activities in the village of Smarden. Focus at present on fundraising to replace our obsolete sports pavilion with a modern building incorporating up-to-date and appropriate facilities. Focus also on extending youth sport, working alongside local school.

The Trustees hold the Trust Fund for the benefit of Sevenoaks School with a gift over to the Great Ormond Street Hospital, if the Trustees and the School Governors are unable to agree as to the application of the Trust Fund. The Trustees meet at least once a year to discuss the Trust's objectives and the School's needs and to decide on donations or loans to fund, for example, sports facilities.

To provide the inhabitants of Herne Bay and thesurrounding area, the provision of facilities for sport and otherleisure time recreation, in the interests of socialwelfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of thesaid inhabitants.

To help and assist in re-homing Springer Spaniels to good approved homes , to aid and advise owners with problems with Springer Spaniels especially to help an owner to keep their dog rather than re-home it where appropriate . To ensure that the dogs recieve any veterinary care required before re-homing , assess the welfare requirements of the dogs and advise prospective new owners accordingly.

The objectives of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The aim of The Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in acheving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.
