The Hall has been used as a meeting place for many residents sharing a common interest with other sections of the community.Our main users are:- a thriving nursery school, local history group, women's institute, men's society, amateur dramatics society, Plaxtol parish council, church youth group and a toddlers group.

Provision of support to the teaching ministry in the parishes of Gravesend and Dartford. Provision of relief by way of monetary grants to necessitous clergy in the Church of England Diocese of Rochester as constituted on 2 September 1704, and to provide for the maintenance of Doctor Plume's grave and gravestone in the Parish of Longfield.

We are a parent organisation that raises funds for and behalf of Minterne Junior School. Our aim is to develop effective relationships between the school staff, parents and supporters. We engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of pupils

The charity is the school Parent/staff Association. It is run by a Committee of parents and staff, the Association raises money to purchase additional items to enhance the students life at the school.

Providing, maintaining and managing six Almshouses for persons of good character who are in need and are inhabitants of Canterbury

The charity provides a well maintained village hall available for hire by local clubs & organisations. Regular users include Brownies, Art classes, WI, Garden Club, Bowling, Keep fit, Tia Chi, Zumba, Choir and Band practices. Taekwanda for kids, club fairs and polling station. Plus a venue for private parties. The hall has facilities for the disabled and well appointed stage and dressing rooms.

CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING FOR THE PARENT TEACHERS ASSOCIATION FOR CHEVENING CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL

Provision of a local broadcasting service for hospitals, residential homes and similar institutions, and for patients receiving community care in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Pembury, Sevenoaks, and surrounding areas of West Kent, using FM radio, digital radio, online and through social media.

We aim to provide an athletic tennis sports module in primary schools. To raise awareness of Anaphalxis and allergies, fund nurses in training to become specialists in this area.

The Charity raises funds, primarily from its annual North Downs Walk but also from other organised events, for the benefit of national and local charities, local clubs and societies, and other local (within the area of the Weald of Kent) worthy causes.

Promoting the wellbeing of local residents and managing the maintenance, improvement and hiring of the local community centre.

The Objects of the Association are to advance the education of the pupils of the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority). The Association may also foster more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. The Association shall be non-political.

To support people who are feeling suicidal, who are despairing, in distress or in need of emotional support. This is achieved by providing 24 hour telephone support, and an email, SMS and face to face service, to enable such people to receive immediate help and support whenever required

The Alexa Trust supports parents with babies in neonatal. Currently we are fundraising for our Neonatal Breastfeeding Support Appeal. To date we have donated breast pumps and bottle sterilisers. We are also involved with refurbishing a breastfeeding room and setting up a donor milk depo at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
