Global Footsteps is an educational charity whose mission is to focus on sustainable living and climate change through awareness raising, mutual learning and research. Specifically in Kenya to engage with community groups to help build economic independence that mitigates climate change and to work locally with like minded organisations to support ethical and sustainable projects.

COMPASSION AND CARE INTERNATIONAL IDENTIFIES NEEDS AROUND THE WORLD, BOTH LONG-TERM AND EMERGENCY, AND RAISES AWARENESS OF THESE THROUGH WRITTEN APPEALS, SEMINARS AND PUBLIC EVENTS. FUNDS OR GOODS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS PUBLICITY ARE DISTRIBUTED IN THE DESTINATION COUNTRIES THROUGH PEOPLE WHO ARE PERSONALLY KNOWN TO ONE OR MORE OF THE TRUSTEES OR BY ONE OR MORE OF THE TRUSTEES THEMSELVES.

We support the education of children living in the socially and economically deprived areas in, Nakuru, Kenya and the Cherish School through the provision of funding to support new schools and develop existing schools. Financial support is also provided for individuals to access or continue with their education.

GCT presently supports the following:1. The Great Commission Christco Project (Kenya), including a Christian school in a deprived area near Nakuru, a medical centre, a feeding programme and refugee relief work; 2. Mapping and planning assistance for a city concept in the Volta Region, Ghana.

We provided funds to help with food and drink, clothes, and accommodation, in various combinations, for orphans and a few widows in the nine counties where we operate. For the orphans only we also provided funds to help with education in some countries.

The charity is currently involved in social programmes for young people in Cheshunt & Waltham Cross (Hertfordshire). It also runs leadership training programmes for church leaders both in UK and overseas, and especially in East Africa and Nigeria under the Grace Bible Training Centre programmes. The charity also assists with poverty relief for orphans and widows in East Africa.

To provide a ministry team to lead Christian services in Prisons, Churches and Christian Fellowships, Hospitals and homes abroad. To provide material aid to widows,orphans, prisoners and other underprivileged people abroad.

Our object is to advance the Christian faith, principally through the provision of grants and project funding for individuals or organisations. Key focus areas are on training, education and the support and welfare of young people, with a particular focus in sub-saharan Africa.

The Friends of St Nicholas Childrens Centre Nakuru Kenya is a charity which exists to help children and young people, in particular but not exclusively those attending St Nicholas Childrens Centre in Nakuru, Kenya through the provision of grants, items, services and practical assistance so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Building and maintaining a residential school.Providing care and education for orphaned and vulnerable primary school age children in the Naivasha district of Kenya.

Kabadhe has to develop the capacity and skills of socially and economically disadvantaged members of communities from East Africa or ethnic minority groups in the UK in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.

The majority of the income is spent on providing staff salaries, (which is way below the minimum required) and providing one meal a day for the approx 200 children. Any remaining will go towards replacing the existing classrooms - it is hoped to raise £200k for a two storey 8 classroom block.Designated funds are sent for poverty relief and supporting children in Romania.

The purpose of Stone Outward Mombasa Project (Friends of Kididima) is to support a school in Mtwapa, Mombasa, Kenya. The aim of the Friends of Kididima is to facilitate the education and care for 150 - 200 very poor and needy children from the age of three years. Many of the children are from destitute families and some are orphaned.

Buxton Church in the Peak (previous Charity no 1089068) became incorporated in 2008, and was registered as a new Charity (new no 1124548) on 17/6/08. However, until 31/12/08 the charity's affairs and bank accounts operated under the old number; From 01/01/09 the Charity operated under the new number.

The Adventure Boutique Foundation raises money to go towards the prevention and relief of poverty in countries around the world by the provision of grants to individuals and/or other organisations working to prevent and relieve poverty.And to help with the relief of sickness and preservation of health in countries around the world by the provision of grants to hospitals and medical centres.

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT

The charity is supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children through work with schools in Zimbabwe. Paying fees for children and funding school based projects ranging from buying books to building classrooms. It is involved in building a school in Kenya and setting up sustainable projects to provide long term funding for the schools it works with.

To provide Education (buildings, staff, equipment & other related material) Health care and food for the children of Shonda in Kenya.

L&M foundation will work towards advancing health or the saving of lives, relieving sickness and providing health education or sickness prevention by making grants to organizations, providing services, providing education/advocacy/information, sponsoring or undertaking research, professional trainings and providing comforts, services for underprivileged communities in the UK and globally.
