St Johns Playgroup aims to provided a safe,secure, warm and happy environment for children to each reach their individual and diverse potential within the six areas of learning, through play. Taking into account at all times their different ages and development stages.We provide a variety of activities, play areas and areas of exploration in the playgroup to help each child attain their goals.

The charity gives grants to other charities to achieve its objects. The main project is in Burkina Faso where the charity has given grants to a local charity . The charity has also started giving grants to a Turkish based charity running an orphanage for Syrian children . who are victims of ongoing political unrest and civil war inside Syria. UK public donations is the main source of income.

Provides facilities and opportunities for children aged between 5 and 18 to take part in playing football and associated training and development of individual and team skills. In addition the club provides training and education for adults in line with the Football Association Governing Body guidelines for teaching children.

The advancement of the Islamic religion by the provision of a place of worship and education in the subject including the provision of an Islamic school and syllabus.

RAISING FUNDS FOR RAVENSHALL SCHOOL TO ENHANCE THE PROVISION FOR PUPILS WITH COMPLEX LEARNING DIFFICULTIES, THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF NON STATUTORY ITEMS FOR SCHOOL.

Batley Sporting Charitable Trust works in partnership with the Batley Bulldogs RLFC to deliver projects in the heart of the Batley community and surrounding Kirklees area harnessing the power of sport and physical activity to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of individuals. We deliver projects under the principles of sport, health, education and community engagement.

Operates a centre with a range of services for 16 user groups. These range from young people's drama and dance groups, older peoples keep fit classes and groups for disabled people. The move to the newly built centre was made in May 2012. The Trust have worked with Open Art in bringing various art forms to the local community.

TO ENABLE PERSONS EXPERIENCING DISTRESS/DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH & REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE; TO PROMOTE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF SUICIDAL BEHAVIOUR & THE VALUE OF EXPRESSING FEELINGS WHICH LEAD TO SUICIDE; TO SUPPORT SAMARITANS CENTRAL CHARITY IN FULFILLING THESE OBJECTS.
