The Ark Church meets for worship and Christian teaching. We run Life Groups, where people meet to share life experiences and the "HOWs" and "WHYs" of applying God's teachings to everyday issues. We reach out to the local community to share the good news of Jesus Christ and provide Parent and Toddler groups and other practical needs. We are currently planting a new church in Halifax.

The purposes of the Church are the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Huddersfield and the surrounding neighbourhood; and such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith.

Activities are planned in accordance with the EYFS. These activitie are play based and a variety of both indoor and outdoor play equipment is available to the children at all times

SKY Positive Minds aims to preserve and protect the physical and mental health of women and children in North Kirklees who have experienced domestic abuse, have anxiety, stress and other disadvantages, through one to one sessions or group workshops that will give them skills and techniques to improve their confidence and emotional resilience.We also advance the education of children by running

The activities that we cover during each session with the children are : Role Play, mark making,computers,construction,small world, book area, messy area (ie. painting, sand,water,play dough). Everything to meet the ofsted requirements.

CHILDCARE 8.30-3pm

The charity was established to provide facilities for the community of Meltham. In 2003 a new purpose build sports and commnuity centre was completed and since that date the trustess have managed the facility on behalf of the Meltham Community. Plans are being developed to extend both the existing centre and also to increase and improve the existing sports pitches in the area.

Rescue and rehome cats.

Progressive programme throughout the sections to incorporate learning, adventure, spiritual and physical development. Participation in activity and challenge badge work. Outdoor activities, camping etc...

Use for communal prayers and islamic education of children from the age of 5 till 15

The Slaithwaite Civic Hall Trust maintains and manages Slaithwaite Civic Hall for the benefit of the community of Slaithwaite and the wider surrounding area. Rooms are available for hire include a theatre style hall with stage and capacity for 250, a large meeting room, a number of smaller rooms and offices. The Trust also promotes performing and visual arts.

THE AIMS OF THE PLAYGROUP ARE TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN PRIMARILY UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP.

Rastrick Junior FC provides facilities for children and young people to play football for the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation. We provide training facilities for young people, aged 6 to 18 years of age and participate in the Huddersfield Junior Football League Our emphasis is on children and young people having fun in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
