The advancement of the education of the public through the promotion of music (and in particular brass instruments) including the improvement of the appreciation of music to those living and workig within the 'HD9' post code area of the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire.

FAINS is the parent/teacher association for the school. Made up of parents and staff the group's main aim is to raise extra funds whilst providing social activities for the families and staff at the school.

The Trust was established to assist The Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestral Society with concert expenses whilst promoting the art of music. The normal Modus Operandi is for the Orchestra to contact the Trust when it is in need of assistance and for the Trustees then to consider that request sympathetically and make a grant at their discretion.

Our aim is to advance the education of the general public living in Kirklees (particularly in the township of Slaithwaite) by promoting activities including artistic exhibitions, performances of music, drama and story telling, multimedia crafts and lantern making. We also stage celebratory festival of Lanterns and Storytelling in Slaithwaite on a regular basis.

The Yorkshire Indian Society through its members organize large scale banquet dinners annually to raise funds to help allow the Charitable Trust to meet its objectives. This involves getting together local Yorkshire and Indian-based residents and support and sponsorship from businesses to help make the event highly successful. An attendance of over 500 people from various backgrounds is the norm.

For the advancement of the christian religion in general and in particular(without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing)the extension of the christian witness to the public at large outside of church premises

Environmental group managing woodland in the Deighton, Sheepridge and Bradley area of Huddersfield.

The charity has continued to raise funds through a series of concerts, recitals, poetry readings and grant applications which are used to increase footfall and provide additional facilities for the Rydings complex. This has enabled us to extend our activities into the town and increase awareness and use of the building and its facilities

Raising funds for Kirkburton First School to benefit learning and community involvement. Charity has run quiz nights, school discos, sponsored events, raffles, after school clubs, Christmas and summer fairs. 2014/2015 funds are destined to go towards an extension providing much needed additional space at the school.

This is a community centre, being used by a childrens group dance school and various community groups.

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL HELP TO WEST YORKSHIRE POLICE STAFF EMPLOYEES AND EX EMPLOYEES WHO ARE CONSIDERED, BY THE TRUSTEES, AS NEEDY.

HSGA is a voluntary support group for people with autism, their families and carers, in the Huddersfield area. We aim to provide support and advice for our members and the wider community. We are represented on an LEA steering group to lobby for better educational provision. We hold meetings for members, frequent social events and activities.

To brighten the lives and alleviate the conditions of the poor and neglected children and also the adult poor of Huddersfield and District.

Makes awards to benefit the students of Kirklees College, an exempt charity based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

To advance the education of the public in Kirklees, by operating and managing a lending library in Golcar.

One Kirklees gives out grants to the inhabitants of North Kirklees in West Yorkshire where they show a positive contribution to the promotion of equality and diversity. An example of this is where someone has written plays which have been acted out in schools which promote racial harmony and deal with bullying issues.

The Mikhaelangelo Foundation is dedicated to supporting elderly individuals and people with disabilities in Kirklees and Leeds. Through a range of services, we aim to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and foster a sense of community. Our efforts focus on addressing individual needs, signposting care, and ensuring accessible support for those we serve.
