Greenbank was set up to enhance the opportunities and status of people with disabilities through education, training, employment, and recreation.Greenbank offers its services to the local community and is particularly supportive of disabled people and disadvantaged groups. We provide work related training, a guidance service, employment related projects, sport and recreation and education.

To enhance the quality of life within communities and neighbourhoods by supporting and developing voluntary action in the Borough of Knowsley. To support and develop the work of voluntary and community organisations. To provide and circulate information relevant to the work of voluntary and community groups. Activate provide alternative education and employability skills programmes to those disengaged or at risk of becoming disengaged from education and/or employment, primarily those with disabilities.

Group work, outreach, activities and one to one support to vulnerable children and young people living in an area of multiple deprivation; one to one support and programmes to young people at risk of sexual exploitation; on street and intensive ?routes out? support to women engaged in street sex work; outreach, daytime and intensive support services to rough sleepers, and other vulnerable adults.

FACT provides a range of activities including an exhibition programme including installations, screenings, etc by artists working with digital and visual arts media; a collaboration programme working with local communities; a range of moving image and new media resource services that support the arts sector; education and training initiatives for a range of audiences; and a research programme.

The Bluecoat is Liverpool's Centre for the Contemporary Arts.Our purpose is to open up creative possibilities for individuals and communities. We do this through a programme of exhibitions, live art and participation projects; through support to artists; by opening our 18th Century building to makers, traders and visitors; and by creating connections between Liverpool and the rest of the world.

EHSU exists to represent Edge Hill University students effectively as well as provide cultural, social and sporting opportunities to help our students develop personal and life skills.

Advice, information, training and support to men, women and children affected by sexual violence whether it happened recently or in the past.

Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity providing specialist palliative care to individuals with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Multi-professional care is accessed through day therapy, community outreach and specialist out-patient clinics plus an in-patient unit and Hospice at Home to enhance quality of life, enabling patients and families to live life as fully as possible.

To support high quality patient care, focusing on areas not fully supported by exchequer funds such as improvements to the Hospital environment and better facilities. As a large teaching hospital, the Trust also has links with the local universities, and another important aim of the charity is providing financial aid to support and encourage our clinicians in new research projects.

Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to families. We aim to strengthen and widen the social support network of families. Volunteers, who are parents themselves are carefully matched to the needs of the family; they then visit the family at home, building a strong supportive relationship offering friendship, reassurance and practical help.

The principal activities are women's education and training which continue to expand in line with skill requirements of local employers and student demand. We also work closely with the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to help fulfill the local and national education agendas.

We believe that "advice changes lives" and therefore we want to provide high quality advice, information and problem solving for Knowsley Residents - contributing to Knowsley Council's vision of "Improving People's Lives" and its objectives.

Providing accommodation and support for homeless people, various activities to help support people in the form of courses, a gym for their health and wellbeing, along with activities such as the involvement in the homeless games
