Religious activities

Dost UK supports the work of Dost Welfare Foundation in Pakistan. We do this through fundraising for different projects, and by creating awareness of their work.Dost Pakistan was formed in 1992 and reaches out to street children, drug users, women and children in crisis, refugees, prisoners, internally displaced persons, victims of abuse, HIV affected persons and all marginalised people.

MSSC is a sports and social club for visually impaired people and sighted members. We run regular cycling, walking, bowls, darts, swimming, canoeing and social activities including quizzes, theatres, brewery tours and much more from our base in Colliers Wood, Merton. We try to partner with other organisations in Merton and beyond that support us through fundraising and shared activities.

The principle activities of the mission includes: weekend prayer meetings (Assalatu); weekend classes for adults and children (Maddrassa); youth activities; yearly eid festival prayers and celebrations; family outings/trips and regular advice and advocacy.

To relieve the suffering and emotional distress amongst parents and families resident in the London Boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, who have experienced the loss of a baby either before, at birth or shortly after birth, in particular but not exclusively by supporting such parents and families with small expenses.

The orchestra held three public concerts during the year and engaged in rehearsals for these. In addition it continued its outreach links with students at the Elmgreen School, Tulse Hill.

(a) advancing education for the public benefit by making grants to support charitable activities in which Ordinary Members are involved; and(b) advancing education and relieving financial hardship for the public benefit by making grants to support young people, underprivileged people and the people of the Parish of St Mary, Somers Town, London.

Grants made to St James the Great School to provide additional resources. Support has been given to enable additional provision to be provided for disadvantaged families to enable them to have access to a wide range of extra curricula provision.

The income from the trust is payable at the discretion of the trustees to The British Home and Hospital For Incurables and the Parochial Church Council of St John The Baptist, Finchingfield, Essex.

To provide an amateur ice-hockey programme in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of people with developmental disabilities.

1. To relieve poverty and distress of people who are homeless by providing shelter, food, clothing, medical and financial assistance.2. To encourage and help people secure gainful employment.3. To spread the Gospel of hope found in the love of our Jesus Christ4. To provide grants and donations to other charitable organisations working towards the same goals.

OUR ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR INCLUDES PROVIDING FOOD PARCELS TO PEOPLE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY, WEEKEND BREAKFAST FEEDING OF HOMELESS AT THE LEMB COMMUNITY CENTRE AND FEEDING HOMELESS ON THE STREET.WE STARTED THE BETHEL OUTREACH FOOD HUB, WE GIVE FOOD PARCELS TO THOSE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY, DONATIONS TO UK CHARITIES, WORK IN NIGERIA AT THE CHESHIRE HOME AND 3 ORPHANAGE IN NIGERIA.

The object of the charity is to relieve, in cases of need, persons resident in the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Wandsworth who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Holding regular worship services in the community to promote the message of the christian faith.

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of children.Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Raising funds.

To promote the advancement of the Christian faith by teaching the scriptures, recruitment, education and training of gospel ministers. The relief of the need of hardship, physical or mental distress among any person. Support of Christians on a non-political basis, who are persecuted by reason of their faith. Support Christians in full time missionary work of proclaiming the gospel.

The income of the charity is to be distributed by the trustees in such manner as they shall see fit among ordained clergy serving or employed within seven London deaneries viz City of London, Southwark, Islington, Bermondsey, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Lambeth deaneries, and seven other central London parishes viz St Ann Westminster, St Clement Danes, St James Westminster, St Giles in the Fields
