Advancing the education of the public by the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of Lambeth Palace Library.

We promote education both young and adult, we cater for the disabled through respite care, religious activities and sports as well as relief or poverty, we promote art and culture and provide counselling for drug and substance misuse.Trips for the youth as well as outdoor fair for the elderly.Organizations affiliated to us are God Is Our Light Mount Olives Church and Higher Calling.

To promote public meetings which consist of lectures, seminars, study sessions with the objective of the study and dissemination of the spiritual and Christian moral values of the spiritual doctrine. Also offer private meetings and/or courses for the study, training and safe practice of mediumship and the Practice of Spiritual Healing, according to the guidelines of the Spiritist Doctrine.

Employment of a youth minister to co-ordinate youth work in the Furzedown Churches; programmes for young people on Sunday and midweek; pastoral support for youung people; networking with local schools etc; encouraging young people to serve the local community and running additional programmes such bereavement courses, debt counselling etc.

Organises prayers groups, religious seminars and public celebration of religious festivals to promote religion.Prepares extra curriculum activities such as theatre, music and dance for children and young people to support them to build up their skills and abilities.Provides used clothing, basic grocery shopping, temporary accommodation, small grants to those in need to relieve poverty.

The principal activities of Love Streatham are organising events such as Action Days, Family Fun Day, recruiting volunteers for charity events and delivering local services, in order to provide relief for disadvantaged and needy residents in and around Streatham, promote social cohesion, and at the same time show God's love and advance the Christian faith.

The society is a county record society that publishes editions of archival texts relating to the historic county of Surrey (including much of South London), to further education and scholarship, and to make historical sources more widely available.

We hold public talks on astronomy and related subjects in Central Croydon approximately every two weeks during school term time. We also maintain an observatory located at Kenley, and aim to open this for public outreach each Saturday evening (provided there is a sufficiently dark and clear sky), and also for pre-arranged group visits (eg Scout association) midweek.

As a Local Initiative of the Global Street Pastor Movement, the mission of Lambeth Street Pastors is to engage, train and mobilise Christian volunteers from different churches, to be relevant in public life, addressing issues of vulnerability and social exclusion through the principle of caring, listening and helping people. Partnering with the police and local authority to achieve our goals.
