Activities of the CIO aim to benefit the residents of Solon New Road and the wider community through advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities with the objective of improving the well being of the residents. This will be achieved by establishing a flourishing community centre that the whole community can access.

The charity is established to empower young people in need and vulnerable adults of the African community in the London Borough of Bexley, surrounding areas, the UK and Africa to lead a normal life, to protect and preserve public health by the provision of HIV/AIDS and sexual health prevention services to the African community in the London Borough of Bexley, surrounding areas, the UK and Africa.

We work with the play specialists in the Evelina Children's Hospital, London, and hospitals in Kent to help preserve children's emotional well being during their hospital stay. We provide anything related to play to be given to children during their stay in hospital to help with distraction from the environment and the procedures they have to undergo. We also provide stickers and certificates.

Mentoring, community engagement

The activities of the charity are to ensure the continued operation of the Carnegie Library and all its associated clubs and activities within the library building, in particular to obtain an asset transfer of the library building from Lambeth Borough Council.

Provides a volunteer-led reading coaching programme for adults in the Lambeth. The support we provide is free - our trained Reading Coaches and Management Teams volunteer their time to provide confidential and one-to-one coaching, given in a private space within a public place. Our group is legally and financially independent - resources and training are funded by donations.
