The trust continues to finance homoepathic and alternative medical treatment for terminally ill and incurable patients. A clinic employing a qualified homoepathic practitioner was run throughout the year and free treatment was given to deserving cases.

Improving our nominated area of beach and public realm for the benefit of people who use it through regular events and activities including monthly beach cleans. Engaging people to become involved in the community by providing fun projects and make friends. Educating adults and children about our environment and how we can all preserve it through our interactive Rossall Beach Buddies Roadshow.

Provides support for the maintenance of St. James Church Westhead and churchyard and provides support for recreational and educational activities in the Westhead area.

The charity continues to manage the assets of the Lady Lathom Endowment and Memorial Fund, the purpose of which is the relief of poverty and sickness relating to the elderly residents of the Parish of Lathom.

The relief of suffering and cruelty to animals, in particular horses, donkeys, sheep and cattle, who are in need of care and attention with the object of restoring them to health and rehabilitation. Educating others in animal welfare.

Masonic Lodge of Freemasons registered with the United Grand Lodge of England and Consecrated in May 1922.Activities include promotion of freemasonry, and involvement in the local and wider community in the pursuit and support of charitable and other work for good causes. This involvement and support includes monetary giving as well as practical support.

WOMENS INSTITUTE

Providing financial support to the benefit of the most deserving and necessitous inhabitants of the parish of Chipping, mainly the elderly & widowed.

Preston Nightstop used to recruit and train volunteers to provide emergency accommodation in their own home for homeless young people aged between of sixteen to twenty five. The charity no longer provides accommodation to young people through the provision of a supported lodgings scheme.

The Friends of Eritrea/ UK is an independent charity, whose main objectives are:Support to education and relief of sickness and poverty in Eritrea.To solicit aid from governments, institutions and individuals in the UK and elsewhere.To promote technology transfer to schools and HE centres in Eritrea that share these objectives and to support new Eritrean refugees coming into the UK.

Regular monthly talks on gardening and horticultural subjects which are open to all members and the general public. Three shows are held each year

Preston Gospel Trust supports evangelical Christian ministry in Preston and the surrounding areas. This can be by providing grants, loans or other funding, or by acquiring or renting property and making it available for use. We carry out our activities in accordance with our Grant Making policy and Statement of Faith.
