Provision of Eco Pod facility

We have equipment that is lent to 'Friends of' groups, to maintain and enhance public open spaces. We coordinate a forum for greenspace groups in Lancaster District. We are responsible for community orchard on NHS-owned land next to De Vitre House, Lancaster. We comment on local development plans and planning applications. We help fund raise for Friends of Freeman's Wood and Greaves Park

BEING ABLE TO HELP THE SCHOOL MEET UNNNNXPEXTED COSTS SHOULD THEY ARISE. TO GIVE SMALL GRANTS TO WORTHY GROUPS IN OR AROUND OUR LOCAL AREA.

This is a African community group of people living in Greater Manchester, England special in Bolton where the organisation is based. Our main activities are to create friendly and social justice life to help our local community in the difficult time and to serve individual and family in needs. we also include same training activities such English and Maths and IT courses, free of charge.

A branch of Rotary International - Bacup rotary club established a charitable trust, which allows members to give service to the community.

To provide grants to various charitable institutions, in particular educational establishments and charities involved in the relief of poverty.

Provide members with financial assistance by way of grants for Sickness, distress and funerals

A Social Club for adults with learning difficulties.

Arrange regular meetings, recitals and lectures for members

Raise income, primarily through our annual Beer Festival. Distribute monies for charitable purposes, predominantly to causes in the local area.

The Charity restores and displays vintage vehicles from the local Municipal Transport Fleets. Provides free transport for other charities/organisations and educational faciities on site for local schools. Currently looking to provide a perminant home for its vehicles to display in a museum setting.

Subject to available funds, the trustees support projects and organisations in their local community, as well as national and international projects or appeals as long as the recipient is a Qualified Charity as defined in our constitutional document.

Carrying out & supporting historical & archaeological research & surveys related to Lathom Park & the dissemination of the results of such research.Promoting the historical and archaeological significance of Lathom Park and encouraging the identification, protection and preservation of related significant sites.Offering and supporting training for the general public in historical research

The relief of need of persons resident in the area of benefit who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

SCOUTING

Improving our nominated area of beach and public realm for the benefit of people who use it through regular events and activities including monthly beach cleans. Engaging people to become involved in the community by providing fun projects and make friends. Educating adults and children about our environment and how we can all preserve it through our interactive Rossall Beach Buddies Roadshow.

Promotion of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social & economic deprivation, by making grants, providing services, advice , facilities, & supporting training. Operating mainly in London and Montserrat

General charitable purposes. Relief of poverty, Overseas aid/famine relief

Social evening once a week-Thurs 7.45-9.30. Also weekend away & day trips. Table games, Basket ball exercise bike we hire the hall at the horwich resource centre special needs group and is wheel chair friendly

To promote awareness of, the history of, and restoration of the Hollinwood Branch Canal, for the benefit of all visitors and the local communities along the route, including regeneration of said areas. To promote use of the Canal corridor by all appropriate forms of waterborne and foot traffic, including the promotion of a public right of way along the length of the canal
